Although I tend to prefer the Classified figures over these Super7 Ultimates releases, I have to admit that this Ultimates Scarlett figure is considerably better than the Classified release, as was pretty much the case too with Ultimates Duke and Cobra Commander when compared to their respective Classified releases; probably Destro and B.A.T. are the only cases so far where I find both the Classified and Super7 Ultimates figures to be equally good.

I think the M16 is because of the iconic comic book cover GI Joe #63 but definitely doesn't make sense for the cartoon aesthetic

Hmm maybe that's why they included it, I don't recall seeing one being used in the cartoon they were always more to using non realistic pistols and rifles not ones that looked like real weapons, including it seems to out of place for the figure wouldn't you agree?

or used the plastic to give one of the headsculpts a pilots helmet. When we look at The Baroness Tomorrow she has a head that has a helmet on it, they should have done something similar with Scarlet

Perhaps watch a few episodes before the review... Lots of episodes with scarlet using the M16. There was even a scene in the season 2 end credits showing scarlet equipped with a M16.
