One of my favorite Ezra and Kanan vs Vader moments is actually their first encounter. "Do you feel that?" Ezra asks. Kanan pauses sensing the Force. "....The cold." The "One way out" speech in Andor was amazing, but the Shakespearean monologue that Luthen gives in *the same episode* was fantastic. Skaarsgard and Serkis both need to be nominated for Emmy awards this year, for that episode. I'm surprised that the Order 66 scene in Episode III wasn't on the list. That scene really hits hard, after you watch Clone Wars and Bad Batch.

Well, Order 66 has less weight when you realise that the Jedi Order deserved to be destroyed. That's why Sidious is so persuasive: he's absolutely right. The Jedi are corrupt and are losing their connection to the Force. That's why Anakin was created by the Force, to destroy both the Jedi and Sith.

One of the most heartbreaking is when Rex and Ahsoka are entering the hangar of the venator class ship. We learn later in Tales of the Jedi what the line “Let’s hope that training paid off” really signifies. Another is the destruction of Tapico City on Kamino. They ordered the clones to completely destroy their homes.

I'm glad to see a good mix of sequel, prequel, original, and animated content in this list. So many people either just tend to relegate these lists to JUST the movies or JUST the live action shows or JUST the animated shows but....this is all ONE galaxy. It's nice to be reminded that all these stories, all these moments, take place in that one galaxy, far far away. Also yes, I'm also a HUGE fan of Ahsoka vs Vader. It's as mentioned, such a poignant scene, that's really meant for ALL Star Wars fans. It's for those who love what Star Wars is all about: the characters, and their interactions off each other. And if Hayden's first lines in the Ahsoka show are "Hello Snips....it's been a while." I'm gonna need to take a bereavement leave from work.

I would never tell anyone what scenes they should like, but I’m surprised how only one animated moment made it to this list! I think everyone’s ranking very much depend on what Star Wars content someone grew up with, so for me the list would be made up of Prequel, Clone Wars and Rebels scenes 😅❤️ (I absolutely adore Twilight of the Apprentice, so while it would definitely be top 2, I can’t decide between this and TCW S7 Maul fight. The story, the visuals, the symbolism - it’s all beautiful!)

Maul Fight was so good, honestly. I don't think Ahsoka and Maul would have beaten Palpatine in any universe, but, I do like the idea of seeing how differently the Empire would have turned out if they killed Anakin. Like, most of the Jedi probably still die, right? But also, how many live, and is it then a three-way brawl between Palpatine, Maul & Ahsoka, and the remaining Jedi for the fate of the known galaxy?

I always liked the Duel of the Fates for its skill and the music, but listening to Dave Filoni explain it in Disney Gallery The Mandalorian took it up a level. "Try not. Do or do not. Obviously the "I am your father" scene is the most iconic, easily. My favorite of these last few years tho, is the one on Kenobi, where Obi Wan and Vader face each other in the finale. And Obi Wan finally sees that it's Anakin right under there. Ewan's acting with all the different emotions going through Obi Wan's face when he sees it, is confronted with this reality, the waves of horror, guilt, sadness, broken-heartedness... You can feel how shattered he is, facing this reality, that it's his best friend, his brother, right in front of him. And then what does he do? He apologizes, for what he did, probably even what he couldn't do, and also for everything that Anakin has been through, partly because of Obi Wan, and the Jedi as a whole. The fact that they never truly accepted him, that Obi Wan 'failed' him (as he sees it himself), and it also merges TROS' Obi Wan with ANH's Obi Wan, who is more grounded in some form of acceptation, that will become a lie later on. Obi Wan isn't flawless and blameless when it comes to what happened to Anakin, and despite the show closing the arc at the end of s1 with Obi Wan letting go of his guilt, or at least most of it, you can still see how the consequence is THERE, in the galaxy, roaming around, and it will come back to get him. Obi Wan has accepted that he lost Anakin, or that Anakin is lost to him, but as we see at the end of the final episode, he passes the mantle to both Leia and Luke. As a child of the prequels, this scene hit me HARD, and even tho I loved the Ahsoka/Anakin scene, Obi Wan and Anakin's was the one that felt cathartic to me, because whereas Ahsoka's guilt is misplaced to me, Obi Wan's is really valid and important to show and express, and a scene pushing him to face it, exposing the Jedi for their failure, was important. Anakin didn't just randomly walked towards the Dark Side. He was drawn towards it, just as much as he was pushed towards it, by the very same people who were supposed to protect him when they took him away from the only person he's ever loved (his mother). Duel of the Fates is really an epic scene, and with Dave Filoni's explanations of it all, it's actually one of the most crucial scenes of the entire saga. Also, my instinct is that Ahsoka will bring its fair share of crazy incredible scenes. And finally, I'm surprised that the Luke scene on the Mandalorian isn't there, it's one of the most epic surprises Star Wars fans have had in a loooooong time! And the fact that it was kept under wraps and secret for so long, in a time like ours, is actually crazy. And as Mark Hamill himself said, it's truly the first ever scene on screen where we see Luke as a full-force Jedi. And, not really a scene, but seeing Luke and Ahsoka together on screen, TALKING to each other on The Book of Boba Fett was just nerdbrainexplosion. I also really love the "I'll never join the Dark Side" Luke scene on ROTJ, it's everything Luke is as a person, and it cristallises what George created as a story originally: a story about a son, fighting for his father. I also really love the Obi Wan/Maul's final fight, Maul's death in Obi Wan's arms, how it just comes full circle for these characters, as individual journeys and regarding what they did to each other. And if I gotta hand one to the sequels, then I'd say I really love Luke's scene with Rey on TROS, the way it made my heart chant, to see hopeful Luke again... and looking back, despite me not liking much of TLJ, Luke's scene with Yoda is also one of the best (and to think, originally in the scripts, it was supposed to be Anakin... the way I would have BAWLED my eyes out with an Anakin/Luke scene...). The fact that there are soooo many epic scenes in the whole of Star Wars universe, impacting so many people differently, is actually what makes it so epic and amazing.

oh man, ahosoka and obi wan both landing the same hit on vader's helmet gets so much better even! it's not the same hit, ashoka takes off the right side (left from the viewers perspective) and obi one takes of the left side (right from the viewers perspective). both of them were some of the last people that had any chance of breaking through vader to bring back anakin but neither could fully remove the mask, then comes along luke, who finally takes off the full helmet, and without the use of violence. it's crazy how these modern scenes can add to symbolism of decades old scenes that was never intended to be there and make the OG trilogy just that much better instead of running the risk to ruin things like many long running series (including at times star wars..) do!

I remember a Star Wars Theory (yes that’s the channel name) video that explained the the high ground advantage wasn’t in reference to the terrain but the situation. That fight parallels the Duel of the fates and as the moment is a critical one to Obi wan he has replayed that fight and thought over every possible outcome of it for years. Him saying “It’s over Anakin, I have the ground” Is really saying “it’s over, from where I stand now there is no move you can make I hadn’t thought of five years ago” and In his arrogance anakin thinks he knows more knows better and can do far more than Obi wan and does exactly as Obi wan knew he would.

And in ANH when Luke sees his aunt and uncle dead and that event is basically what gives him the courage to leave And I know corny but I get excited in ROS when Rei puts the lightsaber behind her back and Ben pulls it out And Vader's first breath in ROTS Can I just put every moment as EPIC?

I think one of the best things about the "No, I am your father" scene is when you think about what that meant for the franchise When A New Hope was made, Vader wasn't Luke's father, he was genuinely - "A pupil of mine before he turned to evil" - as Obi-Wan says, but in this one line, the entire rest of the franchise is born This line cause the ending of RotJ, the prequels, Clone Wars, all of the franchise is so wildly amazing because of this one line that basically made Vader the main character Also I agree with this list mostly though I think instead of some of the sequel scenes, I wish there were more Clone Wars scenes Umbara is incredibly impactful, Siege of Mandalore and Ahsoka promising not to hurt the clones and Rex takes off his helmet and he's crying, Mortis! I mean, The Clone Wars is seven seasons of a masterpiece in my opinion, I hope most of us can agree on that

Personally I think that one of the best moments is in Return Of The Jedi when Luke throws down his lightsaber and tells the emperor that he'll never turn to the dark side and he says that he's a jedi just like his father before him.

My favorite might be the final scene of the last episode of Clone Wars, with Rex and Ahsoka walking away from the cruiser and the row of helmets on stakes, and she leaves her lightsaber on the ground. Perfect finale to the Clone Wars (which kind of defined my childhood), and the way they show everything without words or any noise, just an ambient-type score in the background just destroys me.

My list (Not most „epic“ but my favorites): 10. Anakin and Padmé on Mustafar 9. Anakin and Padmé saying goodbye in the Phantom Menace 8. Anakin and Padmé Talking before Anakin goes to Mustafar 7. Anakin and Padmé on the Balcony 6. Anakin and Padmé Picnic Scene 5. Anakin and Padmé eating on Naboo 4. Anakin and Padmé before and in the Geonosis arena 3. Anakin and Padmé reunite after Count Dooku was killed 2. Anakin and Padmé standing on the windows 1. Anakin and Padmé Wedding Scene

I love the Vader attack in Rogue One, not only does it show Vader’s brutality, but Anakin’s Proclivity for drama as well, you don’t hear his respirator kick in before the lightsaber, meaning he either was holding his breath, or turned off his respirator simply for dramatic effect

I agree with most of those, but I was surprised you left out the scene with Vader and Obi-Wan in Obi-Wan Kenobi. You touched on it, but... not quite. I flat-out sobbed watching that scene. It was amazing. Also, the Season 2 finaly of Mando, when Luke shows up..... $!@#%^& epic!!!

I really liked, how the droids for the rebels, were more than just assistants. Ar 2 and c 3 p 0, drove the plot. The first one, really didn't want to be where he was, yet he did what he had to. Really, the hero of the saga, is a snarky blue robot.

One of my favorite non-canon moments was in Visions s1e01. The reveal of the wanderer pulling a red lightsaber out was such an OMG! moment. The fun part is, there's a chance he's not even a sith. There's always the possibility he's just really strong with the force and picked up a few tricks along the way after defeating so many force wielders.

Other great scenes: The final Death Star shot in Rogue One. Vadar seeing all of the clones with Aśoka’s face markings at the end of the Clone Wars. Luke hammering Vadar and cutting his hand off in ROTJ. The silence that followed when Haldo went light speed through the enemy’s ship/ships. The opening flying sequence in ROTS. Order 66 scenes. Trash Compactor (C3P0’s reaction is my favourite)

The final duel of Maul and Obi Wan the most underrated scene in all Star Wars. The banter before and the choreography of the fight tells so much about their history. The Sith took everything from Maul and the only thing left for him was clinging getting revenge on the man who took his legs. Just like Vader never really free

The scene when Ahsoka leaves the Jedi Temple isn't the last time they see each other before their fight in Rebels. They also have a couple of conversations (one in person) in the seventh season of Clone Wars. Speaking of that seventh season, the Ahsoka/Maul fight is absolutely one of my top Star Wars moments ever, as is Ahsoka and Rex's escape during Order 66. Another contender would be the final Obi-wan/Maul fight in Rebels, and Marva's speech in Andor.

I noticed that in Ashoka's duel, she breaks the left eye on the helmet, but with Obi-Wan's duel, he breaks the right eye. Perfect repetition, it shows how Anikin feels about them. If they were together, both eyes would be broken, like the relationship of Master and Apprentice.

Two moments came to mind for me, one is arguably the most epic duel in all of Star Wars, the one between Ahsoka and Maul on Mandalore in Clone wars. Seriously, it hits different how cool it is. The other is one of the most emotional scenes in Mandalorian season 2 when Din removes his helmet to let Grogu see his face before he leaves with Luke, that one left me in tears. But a top 10 list is a top 10 list, for exactly 10 things 🤷🏻‍♂️

I'd like to at least "honorably mention" the mysterious hooded figure that shows up in an X-Wing at the end of Mando Season 2. Adults cried... Ok, well, at least one person that I know well. Super fond of Han and Chewie boarding the Falcon in Episode 7 with Han dropping a dinger of a quote. Lots of fun K-2SO moments, but only if we were doing a Top 20. Nice work on the list!

2 scenes that are my favs that you didnt mention are the conversation that padme has with anakin right before her death and his duel with obi wan Also the lightsaber battle against snokes security with kylo and rei teaming up its like light and dark combining forces to give us a battle unlike any other and vanquishing one of the greatest evils together. Its also a great scene to show that despite being on separate sides they have an intense bond and together could do amazing things which they eventually do.
