The turbo doesn’t suck “cool air from the intercooler” but blows hot air into the intercooler, where it is cooled down before going into the engine.

Super charger is meant for of the line power and is useful in drag races and others where you need power off the line. And it has no lag which is its biggest advantage over the turbo but it puts stress on the crank and makes lower peak power than a turbo A turbo doesn’t put any stress on ur engine. It utilizes engine waste to shove more air into your engine and it takes abit of time for the turbo to spool yo fully thus making you slower off the line but you have higher peak power. A turbo could definitely help you in some sports like racing. Drifting. Touge and many more sports where your banging on the gears in turns instead of going straight
@scoobsshrooms109 Жыл бұрын
Next you should explain oil and coolant flow in the engine, performance stuff is great but most people don’t know anything past that

I learned about dual charged systems in automotive class in college and I thought it was cool. I then told everyone who read the same book too about it and told me it didn't exist. Where there like 7 different types of cars that did do that in the production world. They looked at me like I was crazy but I was entirely right you can do that. It's difficult but you can and the book was talking about dual charge systems, i was that day trying to find it in it but I couldn't lol. I did see it though.
@Sir.VicsMasher Жыл бұрын
HOONIGAN should build a properly engineered system where a PD supercharger feeds boost to the turbo that way it will avoid top end blower restriction from doing it the other way.
