Now I see why they're so successful: they get along! After singing in choirs and ensembles for 25+ years. I've learned that simply sounding good is not enough to keep a group together. You have to bond with your fellow band mates. Doing that allows you to feel safe when creating things, jamming and sharing ideas.

Fun fact: Mitch doesn't actually go higher on that note. He stays on the same pitch, just switches where it's placed in his head to be more resonant. Scott sings the high note there (and the run after it) instead, probably so that when Mitch DOES go for the high note at the climax, it has more impact.

To be honest, this is what me and my choir back in high school did when we went on tour to San Francisco every year during Spring Break. In the bus, we would just sing songs or make up our join jams here and there. It was really fun, and to see this video do that makes me miss it terribly because tour was literally was one of the best times I've had in my life.

@@hugzpls xD at my high school we’re located right next to the art class and I love when we come inside during marching band season and just look over to see some horrified stares from them as we make no move to explain any weird thing we’re said in their presence. There’s too many to explain at this point and I’m pretty sure most of us don’t care. I have yet to hear an explanation at the very least 😂
