NEW Single Rider Line at Rise of the Resistance & TONS of New Merch at Hollywood Studios!

Күн бұрынDisney has debuted a brand new single rider option for the popular ride Rise of the Resistance, and I'm headed to Hollywood Studios to test it out and bring you along, plus check out more park updates and TONS of new merchandise collections like Haunted Mansion, Nightmare Before Christmas and the brand new first bits of Disney Halloween 2024 merch! There are some pros and cons to this new system, which is still in the testing phase, and I'll show you how it all works from start to finish with a full ride POV! We’ll also see what’s new and other park updates, like Rock N Roller Coaster being back open, the new Little Mermaid stage show coming this year, and lots of exciting new merchandise collections in the shops like Haunted Mansion, Nightmare Before Christmas, Tower of Terror and some BRAND NEW Disney Halloween 2024 merchandise! We'll explore Star Wars Galaxy's Edge & Hollywood Studios, see how long the new single rider line takes, see which other rides have single rider lines, check out the summer crowds and wait times, and enjoy a fun summer day at Disney's Hollywood Studios!

Of course tons of people were posting about this and it was hot news, but I always do my best to cover new and interesting news in the parks and I really appreciate my peeps who watch and support me! The queue for ROR was about that long when we went in May. I couldn’t believe it. I’m sure when it’s quieter the single rider lane will be a lot quicker too. Hopefully they’ll add a few more signs, to help you find your way better. It’s great they’ve done this. Thanks for showing us the details 😊

The timing of this single rider demo couldn't have been better! It just so happened that they started testing this mere days before our trip, and we took advantage of the experience not once but *TWICE* 😁 We rarely pay to ride Rise, and _never_ wait out a 60+ minute queue for Rise, but we will _absolutely_ jump past the preshow and the simulator portions to experience a shorter wait for the main event. Sorry to see that your escape attempt was complicated by loose Resistance hats 😂 But it looks like you made it out of the First Order's clutches in the end! Love seeing all the spooky merch fill the shelves in the Tower of Terror shop. Thanks for taking us along for a great day out at DHS, Jackie!

The single rider line was great you skip both the preshow and the shuttle but go straight to the imperial ship. I rode it Sunday.

It sounds like it would be more suitable for those who have ridden the ride many times. Someone riding it the first time would want the full experience. But it's like skipping the stretching room at Haunted Mansion.

Thanks Jackie! I've only been on Rise once when it was brand new at Disneyland, couldn't get a boarding group the second day I was there. Haven't been back since as that was just before the covid shutdown. Fun to see the shortcut onto the ride but you're right, if you've never been you've gotta experience the whole line and show. We're just amazed at the Single Rider wait times (where they exist). I recall those always being 10 - 15 minutes because no one wanted to split up their party. We wonder if it is a reaction to Genie +/Lightning Lane avoidance...

Love this video Jackie!! Single rider Line is awesome, especially if you have been through the preshow!! it beats waiting longer in line! I love it because you could probably do single rider line a couple times if the weight is pretty short!! That’s awesome that the little mermaid show is coming back!! That’s my favorite Disney movie!! Love all the merchandise. Everything is so cute and especially the latte. T-shirt is absolutely adorable!! Love the new Halloween shirts!! The haunted mansion. Ears are so cute. I hope this “test” goes well and they keep it up. I think if the demand is too high and too many people try to do it, it might overwhelm the system. So as long as it stays small enough, but there’s also enough demand and enough cast members, hopefully they’ll keep it!

I remember when the ride 1st opened, people were debating were the ride truly started. If it was with Rey, the transport, or after the escape. Although it isn't a debate anymore as far as I've seen. My first thought with the single rider line was "Now disney has officially told us were the ride starts"

I am over the moon that they have a single rider line for rise of the resistance. I wish they had a single rider line for every one of the attractions. I know it would make my life easier. I don’t mind bypassing some of the show. I went to one of my first Renaissance fare because of your video. I really enjoyed myself. I guess it’s pretty hot and humid in Orlando right now. I was just talking to my sister because we just got back from New York and she was telling me how much she could not deal with the heat and I told her I could deal with any heat except for the heat and humidity in Orlando. I really really really want to go to HHN one year. I would definitely have to get some kind of pass so I can bypass all the lines. One of these days, until then I will live vicariously through you.

One time after buying a lightning lane they made us bypass the transport ship and go through that hallway it really kinda ruined the experience, but if you know it’s going to happen and want a shorter wait, why not. Thanks for sharing, as always. 👍

DJI makes some great cameras. I've been using the Pocket 2 and the DJI Osmo Action 4. You can definitely tell the difference, especially in low light. Thanks, Jackie, for another fun video. ❤

Yea for a first time, I wouldn’t recommend it! But once u ride, if u want to go again, u can pop back on quickly!

Ok, so if single rider works this way permanently, I will Totally be riding Rise more! It worked pretty dang good, and you still get the awesome stormtrooper room experience! I agree though, if you have never done it, you MUST do the full ride queue. Now, let's talk merch Lol. I have already informed some of our friends about the pumpkin spice shirt thanks to you Lol! and I Neeeed the pumpkin king mug and the 5th dimension shirt, its super cool! the ToT store always has great stuff year-round, which is great! FYI, Rise of the Resistance is NOT included in the multi pass with the new Lightning Lane. You have to purchase the Single pass for that.

Hi, this was great😊 I think you did good explaining the single rider line. I think it will be great for my Sister and I. We have to do rider swap, because i have a Service Dog, so we alone Anyways when riding Rise, so I think single rider will be great for us. I only ridden Rise once,but plan to ride in our next time down there in 2026. Love that ride😊 Love Star Wars. Toy Story area is great to,just a bit hotter area. Muppets is another area thats our favorite, wish there was more though. Oh my gosh i can go on and on about that park😂 Anyway, this was a great vlog, thank you for all the experience and explanations. Be Safe Take Care 😊❤

Well it’s not just for kids, but it was in youth sizes, but I got the xl and xl youth was nice and roomy for me! I wonder if they have adult sizes of the same print somewhere. I’ll keep looking!
