I love Chyler's interviews. She's always so articulate and says things in such a poignant manner. I'm sad about Sanvers but I respect and liked the way they ended the story line - with no blame on either side and with both parties respecting the other's decision even though it hurts like hell. It was bittersweet as heck knowing how far they'd grown as individuals and a couple only to realize that sometimes, love just isn't enough to sustain a relationship. I hope that they don't use the breakup as a catalyst for Alex to self destruct but rather to learn from it, piece herself back together and come out the other side stronger. All the best to Floriana Lima too. She made for a great Maggie Sawyer and will be missed.

I started watching for Alex and will continue with or without Sanvers because Chyler is an incredible actress! It sucks a bit but she's still there and I can't wait to see her grow even more

There's something really incredible about Chyler is that everything she does, she does it with her heart, her whole heart and that's why she can potentially reach everybody's heart! Her emotions are real we can literally feel them (well at least I do). She's so sincere and she always wants everyone to know that we matter, we're valued and worthy of respect. She's not just a talented actress, she's an amazing person who uses everything she's got to make us feel better and safe. Her words are so important to me. SHE is so important to me and I'm really grateful I get to look up to someone like her! I love her to pieces ❤

Arizona and Callie broke up on Greys because Arizona didn't want kids and they got back together (for awhile) and had kid. "So you're saying there's a chance", lol.

This time it wasnt the writers at all. Floriana had planned on only doing one season and chose to leave. The writers hoped she would stay and even said that had she chosen to stay they were probably going to have the midseason finale be the wedding. I don't know why she left, maybe she made other commitments. But they very purposefully didn't kill her off and made the split up amicable in the hopes that maybe one day floriana will return.

The only thing that will not end is my support for Chyler and Alex. It is essential that we continue to support them. My gratitude is mostly for Chyler. Beyond her brilliant talent, she is so sincere in her consistent support for the community. While I'm grateful to Floriana for her brilliant & beautiful portrayal of Maggie and Sanvers, the truth is she abandoned us. She committed to one season; was asked to do more and she said no. So, they convinced her to do 5 episodes just to give us some closure. So, she wanted out and is moving on. 😔

This is very, very sad news but she explains it so well that it makes it a bit easier. With being left in real life after a 30 year relationship, what she says is true. But I do think we look to TV or books to show us what COULD be, not reflect what reality is. I guess if I want reality, I only have to look in the mirror. I want that hit of positivity that alternate reality can offer. Personally, I won't be watching the show. It would be too painful.

I respect both actresses, but I feel exposed in a wrong way by the writers with this "relationship". Everytime they tell a homosexual story, ends up with someone dead or they make us look like we do everything so fast. I remeber Alex coming out, and she was already getting married with Maggie. In my opinion, they should have gone a little bit slower, mostly if Floriana told them she was about to leave the show. Anyways...we still have Hollstein(Carmilla) and Wayhaught(Wynonna Earp)...hopefully, they dont fail us like the others. Good luck to Floriana in her new path, and thanks to Chyler for making the best for her character.

I love Sanvers & both characters individually. I can't fathom a scenario, if Maggie were to came back, in which they would get back together, tho? Wanting or not wanting kids are core values for people. Unless they write another out-of-character motive for reconciliation.

Chyler and Floriana are great actresses and the story they gave us was beautiful and inspiring ... I understand that it´s important to Alex be a mother but not enough reason to let the love of her life go away without a fight ...Maggie clearly has problems with the concept of "traditional family" by the way his own family has treated her .. so I think there is still potential material to work on this storyline !! Probably Maggie, unconsciously, does not want to cause harm to her children and therefore desists from having them. Writers should think about it more before making this break something definitive.

Chyler and Flo were AMAZING for this, they're both absolutely top-notch actors! This was AMAZING. I'm sorry it's over, as far as Flo having to leave the show. This was stupid as far as the top levels of the CW. Everything that went wrong started from the top and rolled downhill. Flo is awesome and deserves way better treatment!

I came to SG because I heard there was lesbians. I didnt realize that storyline started in Season 2, and watched season one and loved it, and was shocked by how much I disliked season 2 except for Sanvers. I think I'm gonna keep watching to see where things go with Alex's arc. Even though I dont trust the CW or these showrunners.

I am crying my eyes out rn. Chyler is so inspiring and so focused on making sure that the LGBTQ+ community is well represented and looked after. This show is doing something groundbreaking. I remember watching Alex's coming out episode with my dad and knowing that he is being exposed to the new norm and that he knows that being Bi or gay is alright and normal. and though I have not fully told him yet I still hold out hope that he will accept that I'm bi.

You know... I miss Lexie so much that I see her instead of Cheryl. I mean, Alex and Lexie have two different ways of speaking. But Cheryl, in her interviews, speaks in the same way as Lexie. I feel like she wasn't faking the "Lexie" character. She is the character. She is Lexie. God, I miss Lexie...

I will be happy to see Alex focused more on fighting crime with her "super" sister, as the show started out. The show was most intriguing and interesting when the the sisters were focused more on their relationship, their strength together as a team, and bringing down the criminals. Looking forward to more Danvers sisters shenanigans.

I'm sorry, but there was nothing "groundbreaking" about the breakup story line. It was once again the trope of the lesbian couple can't have a happy ending. I appreciate Chyler and Floriana's portrayal of Sanvers. But the bottom line is...they are both straight women. And so I don't think they can fully grasp how much the breakup of one of the few healthy and positive w/w relationships currently on television has an effect on the community by telling us that once again, we are destined for doom in a relationship. There's nothing groundbreaking in that. We're told that every day in various forms of bigotry and homophobia.
