Fun fact: Scarlett Witch is actually the reason the Avengers disassembled after she went crazy and Killed Scott Land (Ant Man), Vision, and Hawkeye after bring the Ultron clones back and creating an entire war with just her mind.

It is a fairly major part of her character these days, having become so powerful and yet lost so much that she simply went insane, killed a number of avengers and re-wrote reality with her super charged powers before being defeated, de-powering almost all mutants and disappearing. They have brought her back after years away, trying to put much of the blame on Dr Doom for her actions but she is still seen as the near killer of the mutant race and hated and feared by many mutants and humans alike

she can manipulate reality. meaning she can just think things into reality. I think I remember reading somewhere that in the comics she just said "no more mutants" and they all disappeared from existence.

Here's a story for ya: Since Wanda married an android, she could not have children. So what did she do? WARP THE VERY PLANES OF REALITY IN ORDER TO MAKE TWO SONS. But wait, there's more! Her sons were actually part of the soul of Mephisto, a powerful demon from the Marvel universe. When he reclaimed them, Wanda went bat-shit crazy, killed Scott Lang (the second Ant-Man), Clint Barton (a.k.a. Hawkeye) and even Vision. BUT WAIT THERE'S EVEN MORE!! Being unable to control her powers, Wanda RECREATED REALITY, creating a whole new universe where mutants reigned over the Earth, ruled by the House of M, a.k.a. Magneto's family. After some shenanigans in the alternate reality, Wanda simply changed the world back to normal, but not before STRIPPING ALMOST EVERY SINGLE GODDAMN MUTANT ON EARTH OF THEIR POWERS!!!

+matthew skakun of course she is stronger than Dr. Strange, Dr. Strange doesnt possess chaos magic which is the most powerful form of magic - reality warping, that makes her the most powerful even than Dr. Strange. Read Avengers v Xmen, Avengers Disassembled and House of M, Wanda is obviously powerful than him.

matthew skakun her, her son in Wiccan, and Franklin Richards are all able to warp reality through thought. Rarely do writers give them full control over it. But when the character does they can literally do anything. Wanda famously depowered like 90% of the mutants on earth in a single instance by willing it to be so.

What do you think about how the movies treat her now? :D In every movie, she gets stronger. Civil war, struggled to hold an airport tower; infinity war, lifted 4 huge things off the ground and threw them like toys. (I kept it vague to not spoil what those things were)

I always preferred Evolution Scarlet Witch. The Goth look was perfect for someone with that kind of power, the attitude of being distant was parallel to that of Quicksilvers invasion of everybodys space, and the fact that she was the polar opposite to her twin brother. Quicksilver was happy, cheerful, energetic and as stated, invaded people's personal space. While SW was more distant, angry, depressing and avoided most social contact.

The Twincest garbage was only in the Ultimate universe not the main universe this was describing so idk why it was even brought up. She did marry Vision though. She even gave birth to twins with her reality altering powers while obliterated nearly every mutant which are key story elements to the character.

Fox owns the rights to the X-Men. The only reason Fox is letting Wanda and Pietro be used is because they are important parts of the Avengers, but they can't use the word mutant. So I'm the MCU they were test subjects and were given their powers by Lokis sceptre.

MrSafior I don't mind much. It wouldn't make sense if she was Magneto's kid since the two are in different, I guess, universes. I'd prefer her to have a similar backstory, just minus the mutant part, but I don't think it's gonna' be that close.

I appreciate actually using clips from X-Men Evolution as that's where I first found out about The Scarlet Witch character. And from what I've seen it's the only X-Men TV series to actually really delve into her craziness which I think is going to be a big factor of Avengers 2.

You really should've differentiated the ultimate universe from the original one in this video. The twincest only happened in ultimate, If you consider that an important part to her story, why not mention she died, along with Wolverine, almost every X-men, Magneto, and Spiderman? Mind you they're probably all alive again and are Chitauri agents or some shit.

Yeh, early on when they were writing comics, they kinda spoonfed things to the audience. I always found it odd, that Magneto would name his group like that, then claim that what he wanted was a good thing for the world.

Because both Wanda and Pietro were saved by Magneto they both felt honor bond to repay the debt. Magneto choose they join him as the way to repay that debt. During their time in the Brotherhood, they never did anything to harm anyone, just enough not to anger Magneto.

The only thing I’m confused about is that - Wanda is in avengers now and avengers isn’t in the same universe as the X-Men are or the avengers would be named Mutants .. also in CACW her brother was killed yet her brother is also in X-Men days of future past and apocalypse and upcoming dark Phoenix. So can someone tell me a way how they both can be included in both universes - I doubt any dimension travel stuff

Fun fact about the avengers 2 (spoilers?): The Avengers will open in a scene where the avengers are fighting in the middle of a city (don't know which) Scarlett Witch and Quick Silver will be there. The first 20min is about fighting some war.

While Quicksilver does look absolutely horrible in DoFP, saying a studio will do a comic character better than Fox is not a compliment. Just means it's not as bad as it could possibly be.

Our last hero You don't know that just because the outfit sucks doesn't mean shit. Fox has a much better chance of getting it right because they can actually use the characters how they are suppose to be used take out the mutant and kids of Magneto aspect and the characters are alot less intresting. I really think Whedon is making a mistake using them.

Our last hero No they never said he wouldn't be related to Magneto Armin just had an "inside source" which is complete bullshit millinos of "inside reports" get reported and 99% of them are wrong Armins is no difference. As for SW she won't be in the movie but when they do introduce her they will make her his twin obviously.

I dislike the retcon they made about Scarlet Witch and Quicksilver not being Magneto's children and not being mutants because there are plot holes like being detectable by Cerebro as mutants. My explanation perhaps it was Scarlet Witch's power making the lie a truth? It also begs the question what happened to his true child, and did it survive and are they a mutant?

Fr I love her, I was never a fan of comics or the heroes but she really introduce me to something else, she is beyond the best, everyone cries bc of their past and then they’re strong but wanda is beyond that, she really had a bad childhood, not cause she was excluded from a palace or a loved one died idk, she’s is more real and her problems are.
