Their ability to anticipate the bulls' likely next move, and the athleticism required to react, seems preternatural. But this is done with divided attention. Like, one eye on the bull and one on the rider, and still performing physical and mental feats. These guys are amazing.

The Bull Fighter Marines are so awesome, there really is not enough thanks for those fearless guys. Seriously they should receive a gold medal each with an Honour announcement from the State they live in.

I had never been interested in bull riding until I understood the work of bull fighters. These guys are really tough and brave.

I don't hoot and holler at any sport. I'll watch football in complete silence. Put on a boxing match and I'll sit steady in my place and enjoy it quietly. But, boy, you put a rodeo on and I can't sit still or stay quiet, to save my life. Haha. 🤠 Hey! These bull fighters are no damn joke. This show would be a bloodbath if we didn't have them good ol'boys. God bless these guys. Stay safe!

I think at Dickies arena that night they said as soon as he “woke up” he said “what happened”? Having a severe head injury myself I remember saying that same thing when I finally “woke up” in Surgical Intensive Care. Of course a bull didn’t do that to me. A drunk driver’s car did it. These riders are so lucky to have the bull fighters out there for protection. That was brutal in real time! I’m surprised they let some of these possible head/spinal injury people walk like ‘nobody’s home’ to the back. As an RN I think the backboard should be used more often…just bc they CAN sort of walk unsteady doesn’t mean their spine should be moving. But hats off to everyone working to help the guys out there and in the back.

Grew up riding bulls with cooper fighting. One of the rodeos I got hung up and he was fighting in pants and shoes. The pictures were great lol
