I had the privilege of seeing SuperM live. It really did feel epic, and they were all so incredible. At the time, I only really knew Taemin. I had heard of some of the others (knew a few EXO songs and maybe one NCT song) but didn't know much about them. I listened to their first mini album over and over just before the concert and fell in love with their sound. By the time I left the concert, I stanned the group and found my ultimate bias in all of K-pop, Taeyong. I really miss SuperM so much.

I don't think any of us knew what was going on with those trailers when they came out, other than Taemin seemed to be mastermind and bringing them together. We do know that EXO lore and NCT lore were carried over into SuperM (Kai and Baekhyun's powers are displayed multiple times) and NCT is all about dreams and dreaming and there's a very dreamlike feel to those members trailers
