@@dannyx498 they are different ages, different eras, different moments in movie making history, the Christopher Reeve , s Superman is the classic one of the 70,s and 80, s comics . Chris Reeve portrayed perfectly the Silver Age Superman in the same way Steve Reeves did for the golden age era of 40 , s and 50, s . And Henry Cavill is the perfect Superman of today. More realistic , no "mock in cheek ". Today an evil Superman would be real evil , something that was imposible in 1983 . But for me without any doubt, Christopher Reeve was the perfect and the best comic Superman .

Nice callback to this in the CW crisis on infinite Earth’s. When Brandon Routh’s Superman was brainwashed by Lex Luther to fight Tyler Hoechlin’s Superman and returned to normal, he commented that it wasn’t the first time he had fought himself.

I love this fight, thanks to Ricky believing in Superman and snapping him out of his evil self. In the comic book version I still can't forget the lines "I have met my enemy and he is ME!" and shows Clark punching Evil Superman.

Proof that Reeve was amazing: 1- If I didn't know, I would definately think it is two different actors, due to the completely different behaviour, face expressions, etc. 2- That scream superman did, I felt in my soul, so convincing. 3- You can see Reeve kind of risked his life a few times in this video, at least risked hurting himself. That is not only talent and hard work, it is also COMMITMENT. We miss you, Chris, our true Superman.

From what I heard, this fight was entirely in Kal's head. When superpowered Kryptonians struggle with themselves, they LITERALLY struggle with themselves, I've heard. Another actor had to be brought in to give a better visual aid for the fight going on in his mind.

My mother was a quadriplegic, we were in a horrible accident, she was thrown from the car and broke her neck. We saw Christopher do a motivational talk in Hamilton Ontario, he changed her whole outlook on life, meeting him just before he passed, he was a Superman.

I still believe this was just in Clark's mind. I don't think there was an actual fight; it was just Clark's good nature fighting his evil nature. And in the end, the good won. It reminded me of the Star Trek episode where the transporter split Kirk into his kind and aggressive halves. Neither could exist without the other...same with Clark.
