This should not need revisiting. One is confirmed to survive nuclear blasts and be a menace to a planet. The other is confirmed to destroy universes and battle omni-dimensional avatars of God level beings and destroy multiverses in some iterations. edit: I didn't like Superman for being this moral paragon who was infallible for like literally a decade until I understood his character in a different light. Understanding Superman as more of a thought experiment in how a 'good' man will react to and use 'ultimate power' makes him a lot more interesting. It even makes evil iterations of him way more interesting to think about. Even when he's evil, he has to THINK he's good and he's doing some necessary nastiness for an ultimate good.

I mean, if it was JUST a them, no weaknesses, or anything, Superman would win, albeit not that easily. If we observe his fight with Zod, the whole fight neither of them were injured or panting. If they were to just win through hits, the fight would go on forever. Idk anything about The Boys, including Homelander, but he doesn’t have infinite stamina like Superman does, right?

Canonically, depending on which Superman we’re talking about throughout the years, SM is the clear winner. We aren’t talking “strong for earth”, we’re talking universal scale. That said, if it’s just the Zack version, ehhh probably would still win 1v1 The circumstances of the fight though is a great point. Damage mitigation, civilians etc. interesting thought

Homelander would definitely win! He'd curse and make fun of Superman for having such stupid weakness as Kryptonite. He'd probably fly right through Superman as he was weakened by the Kryptonite. If Batman in a suit could nearly kill Clark,Homelander is definitely killing him without hesitation

The biggest difference between the characters is morality homelander has little to none where as superman has a surplus of it and yes probably over 90% of fights supes would win hes significantly more powerful especially if superman didn't hold back an ounce home lander could be dead in less then 20 seconds plus superman probably wouldn't have to use 1/4 of his full power to win anyway

I'm not a fan of superman but I'll take him over Homelander.

I love Superman but hate to say it but Homelander would win. He'd fit dirty and Superman is too much of a boy scout. Kryptonite would be used and Homelander's only weakness is possibly a pencil or ego.
