I think his character is decently written maybe not the best in the series but I enjoyed his parts I feel like now they just threw all that away and doing whatever they want with that garbage writing makes no sense and there’s no background to go off it if they had started with him being gay but the same person I’d prolly be okay with it but changing it up and for no actual reason just ain’t doin it for me

Dude people don't want to support something that is garbage. If they watch the whole season and then leave a shit review they got bamboozled. If they refuse to watch the rest of the season then they win and the writer will actually have to do something about it and create a real fucking plot and not jam a bunch of softcore gay pornography into the show along with diatribes about fascism, racism, etc. and a bunch of political jabs and nonsense. You aren't supposed to continue to watch something if it's garbage

So I’m confused on what your complaining about? Because you can’t have that final fight happen in the first 3 episodes. It’s continuing the deconstruction of everything around homelander is important. What chaos were you expecting? You wanted them to blow their load in 1 episode?

First off homelander is the 99% of the reason the story is the way is it. His threat alone creates the story as we know it. All the characters move and scheme around him as if he’s a immovable mountain . Without homelander the story of the boys while still being good, just wouldn’t work narratively without his presence. The green goblin was a terrible example. His threat is closer to the emperor in Star Wars. While there are still a lot of issues in that galaxy killing palpatine fixes 90% of the problems for the characters in that story. Same goes for homelander. Kill homelander and the cia, boys, and military have no reason to hold back on the war against sups anymore. All a moot point since I wasn’t arguing for a “final fight” rather I was critiquing the people complaining about the lack of “ chaos” or “action” in the first 3 episodes as if that was what the boys was all along. Again. Your clearly confused on what I was saying.

People aren't angry Frenchie is gay, they are angry that they have to watch him kissing a man for a combined time of about 45 minutes over the first three episodes. He's a secondary character, not important, and he should only be in the show if it's creating more overarching plot which it isn't, and it feels like they are just forcing the gay agenda onto the viewers, along with all the fascist racism etc. bullshit talking points the new token black character spews along with the fact that everyone always has to know she's smarter than every other MAN in the world. This season is obviously a fucking joke and if you don't see it you're just being ignorant or never cared about the plot in the first place

Underwhelming? Bruh what you mean Underwhelming? Maybe you should stop watching TV for a while so you can fix that desensitized brain of yours. Besides, the beginning of seasons usually aren't better than later episodes. Like I said, your brain is desensitized. That's on you to fix.

@@ezekielsparadise4633 What even is this comment? The Boys is one of the few shows/movies I watch, and I think I have a more desensitized brain than most. I almost stopped watching after the disappointing end of last season. Soldier Boy saved the whole last season for me. The show seems to be meandering and sputtering out, it doesn't know what to do with some of its characters, and just needs to come to an end soon. It's like a rollercoaster deliberately slowing down just to make it artificially longer. I'm glad they announced that season 5 is the last season; any more and this show would have been ruined, similar to Supernatural, The Walking Dead, and so many other shows that went on too long and lost the plot in the process.
