Here’s the thing, NEVER force feed your children; no food means they’ll get hungry and will eat what they are served. It’s called natural consequences; children WILL eat and drink when they’re hungry and thirsty and learn that they must accept whatever they are served. It’s NOT that difficult.

Supernanny made the good point of them eating pureed foods delaying their speech. I didn’t even think of that and it makes total sense. Also, when you’re around your kids or whoever every single day, you actually start to understand them and their “language” even when it doesn’t make sense or isn’t clear to others. The father didn’t even realize there was an issue with their speech and he wasn’t combative when it was brought up. He was surprised.

It's amazing that intelligent and educated literate people with advanced degrees who want to have families can't be bothered to educate themselves on basic child development and successful approaches to rearing . Most of this information is available in books that can be read while pregnant. It's not rocket science.

I feel sorry for the parents, but to be fair they were also practically shoving the food down those kids throats. Literally force feeding these poor souls. NEVER force feed your child, it’s just wrong, cruel. These parents are treating these kids like animals. Who else saw the dad OPEN THAT KIDS MOUTH FOR HIM???!!!!??!!!

I broke my youngest of throwing screaming fits ~~ I started parroting him right back to him. He’d yell or scream & I would do the exact same thing back to him. His reaction was hilarious. I also marched him right to his bed and make him stay there until he figured out he could come out when he minded his manners.

I had 6 kids, 3 of each. All of them were eating solid food by 1. They wanted to copy me and eat what i did. I am only 4 mins in n this one i cannot watch. Forcing kids to eat is wrong. There is an easier way, it is called hunger. Okay, you don't want this hun? No mum. Okay, bug there is nothing else and you cannot snack or get dessert if u dont eat your dinner. Next meal might go the same. But.... They will whine, cry, and bribe, but hunger will win if mum is firm n keeps an eye out for siblings sneaking snacks to them.
