And here marks the beginning of Dean’s most heartbreaking storyline! (No pun intended lol)

The "mark of cain" plot line is one of my favorites. I'm excited to see what y'all think.

I feel like the main reason Dean took on the mark is for Sam, bc Dean was super guilty about what he did so he was doing some out of pocket shit to make Sam forgive him. Now I do believe that he wants to kill Abaddon but I don’t believe that’s the main reason, he wants to kill Gadreel so bad. Not just because he killed Kevin but because he manipulated Dean into letting him into Sam’s body than in turn used Sam to kill people and not only that but kept telling Dean that Sam was almost done healing so Dean had to keep lying to Sam…

I still feel that they missed a golden opportunity to explore something that Michael said to Dean in season 5: Dean and Sam are descendants of Cain and Abel.

The plus side of Dean having the MOC is that Jensen gets to do something different character-wise with Dean and gives him a chance to show even more what he can do as an actor. Jared got to do so multiple times with Sam and Misha as well with Castiel, so I was all for this MOC storyline.

Angels have lost their wings from season 9 and onward. So the angels aren’t as strong as they were in season 4 to 8.

YESSSS TIME FOR THE BEST STORYLINE!!!

I don't know about demons but when the Angels fell from above, they got hurt and lost some of their powers. Not all but some. Dean and Sam also got tougher and know how to fight them. Mark of Cain plot is one of my favourites and I can't wait for you to see the rest. Looking forward to the next reaction!

I f🐬cking love this episode Cain is an awesome character and Timothy omudson did a great job Also i know they never adapted able in this show but if they did I think they should’ve gotten Tom Ellis to play him because Timothy omudson played god in lucifer and they had great chemistry like if Cain became a demon what if able became an angel when his soul went to heaven yes it’s similar to lucifer and Michael but I think it works

Correct me if im wrong, but i think the only angel killed by a human so far has been Zachariah?? All other angels have died by the hands of other angels? But also, angels got nerfed because they were too OP to keep in the story as they were, but there was no way for writers to get rid of them completely

Bro, Davion, you are overthinking it. Angels and Demons are powerful but when possessing a HUMAN vessel…. They aren’t as powerful and dangerous as they should be when only they are in their TRUE FORMS! smh It’s not that hard to grasp the understanding that Angels and Demons are weak and somewhat exposed when they take over and fight in the bodies of humans. Thats how a CW show like Supernatural works. They don’t exactly have the quality/budget to properly showcase the full and true powers of what an Angel and a demon can do, and what they truly look like. It’s not going to work out the way you want it. Only companies like Warner Bros, Disney, HBO, or possibly Netflix would try and attempt to portray the powers and true forms of Angels and Demons had Supernatural been done of their platforms with better writers and higher budget.

21:10 not Matthew Luke and John 😭 Those were Jesus’s disciples and not till MUCH later in the New Testament. Also, there were other “gods” in the Bible. There is many many times where people are worshiping other gods (like the Egyptian gods, Roman gods, etc) but those are all (how I’ve always had it explained to me) “little g gods” that were either fake or demons being worshiped by humans. There was only one true “God” though. But yeah the show walks a really fine line, as a Christian I don’t want to watch something that stomps on my religion but I feel like it does a decent job (at least at this point in the show) of using biblical concepts and creating it into their own thing instead of just making fun of the source material.
