Unboxing my third ‪@inspiredbicycles‬ bike so far - the Arcade Pro, a 24" street trials bike. This bike was developed back in 2012 and changed the game for street trials geometry. So good! I’m pleasantly surprised with this bike, I thought it was going to be “too BMX” but it’s quite a bit more balanced than I expected

@@SuperRiderTV me too mate, some buddies got the arcade the day it came out and it was just as I got my first Street bike. All these years later and I've got one myself haha. I prefer a fine tuned aluminium bike as my "main" bike but the arcade is such a good jack of all trades and steel makes it so fun to ride in a different context to a stiff, precision oriented bike. Much more forgiving and the simplicity makes it so so fun

Spot on! The more I ride this bike, the more it comes alive - I think once I find the perfect spot to take full advantage of the geometry, it'll be perfect.

I haven’t learned much about the newer bikes but have heard complaints about pressed BB cups creaking are the trials bikes still threaded into the frames?

Hi! Don't find it to heavy? I would like a street bike but I hesitate between arcade and fourplay, both are nice and differents I don't want to mess up in my choice

They're both great bikes, the main difference is just the frame material. The Fourplay is definitely lighter and has a little more "trials" feel to it, but if you came from a BMX background, the Arcade probably feels more comfortable.

How much harder do you think it is to do trials stuff on a street trials bike compared to a comp bike?

That's a great question. I think when it comes to static moves (sidehop, pedal kick gap, etc) the comp bike really shines, and when it comes to rolling tricks, the street bike has the advantage. That said, I rode a competition on my Inspired Hex this past summer and it was totally fine. A few moves (lunges, in particular) were harder - but ultimately you can get the job done on either bike. It really just comes down to what riding style (and terrain) you prefer the most.
