I've been wanting to do Corridors of Time (the music you hear while walking around the Kingdom of Zeal) for so long, but it's such a beautiful piece that I never felt that I could add anything to it to make it worth remixing. I was finally inspired to write some lyrics for it from the perspective of Schala, and I worked in a bit of Schala's theme as well as a bit of original stuff.
I really hope you like it as much as I enjoyed working on it ^_^ As you guys probably know, Chrono Trigger is my favorite game of all time, and this location was particularly special to me. Incidentally, I didn't realize it was Chrono Trigger's 20th Anniversary last week... so when I realized I'd be finishing the music track on that day I was very happy.
Also, I apologize for the sporadic uploads... I've been hard at work on my game (Rakuen), but I have some more videos in mind so I'll keep you guys updated :) Take care and stay healthy!

I came here a few years ago and fell in love. I came back a couple of days ago, and I am completely and utterly enamored. This is amazingly beautiful, Laura. More than amazing. I can hear a bit of Schala's Theme more than halfway into the song, which is the most nostalgic piece for me from the series from my childhood, and truly, it shook my body with goosebumps. I love the fact you are obviously coming from Schala's perspective in the lyrics you wrote. It hurts how good this all is. The kid in me, and the adult I am, both thank you from the bottom of our hearts. Chrono Trigger's soundtrack is timeless. Mitsuda-san is brilliant, as always, since I was a kid in the 90s. You have a new forever fan from Saudi Arabia, Laura ❤

Today I learned that my mother was taken ill and in a deep coma at the hospital. This song and Laura's voice actually made me starting crying... But it also gave me a sense of healing that she's in a peaceful state😥 - I have actually listened to this song many times, but now I want to say thanks for making something so wonderful 🙏

With a heavy heart, she passed away. Whenever I get visions of her in her final days in the hospital, I listen to this song to ease the pain, believing she is in paradise.

I bought this album and play this song often. One time in the car it came on. My daughter takes choir lessons and sang along with it. This song often makes me tear up, but hearing her sing it made me pretty emotional. "I'm not crying... you're crying."

I've listened to this 5 times now. Chrono Trigger is unquestionably my favorite game of all time, and Chrono Cross is pretty close. You did an amazing job. Your lyrics fit so well and evoke both sadness and nostalgia. You've got a beautiful voice and every one of your releases has been a pleasure to hear. Thanks so much for treating a cherished classic with such care. Maybe one day tributes like this will get through to the right people and we'll get another Chrono title. This fills me with so much emotion. I can't stop listening to this. I come closer and closer to crying with each passing moment listening to this song. This is absolutely a beautiful rendition. You've captured so much emotion from the perspective of a young boy and his sister as they watch their mother become corrupted by power they shouldn't wield. This is magic

These lyrics added to Corridors of Time theme are so incredibly beautiful (and appropriate, and sad, considering what happenned to Schala), and your voice sounds so much like music played by an angel - it's all so astounishing it hurts, and I want to feel this pain ever and ever again. Thank you for opening this void in my chest today. It was just like when I played Rakuen, and also when I listened to Rakuen's OST. You are cruel to my feelings and I love it.

First off, there aren't any words I can express or put into this box that can express how much I enjoyed you singing this. Thank you so much for sharing this with us! I was tearful the first time I heard and saw the kingdom of Zeal... I cried meeting Janus, wondering I too could change something... I wept when I saw Schala's fate... and I haven't wept like this for her in years. I've always grieved her... She did so much to save her mother, her brother, and her kingdom... only to be ripped from time... Not even killed, but... (shakes head). The only hope I still have for her is that that one Nu in the future who "sleeps out side the flow of time" can at least dream of her. She's the only person who didn't get a tomorrow. Thank you again for this song, and putting some words to her, and telling her story before, during, and after the fall of Zeal. Thank you for telling her story.

You are amazing. This is maybe my 3rd post on KZfaq in the past 8 years. But I had to tell you how much I love what you do with Chrono Trigger music (and I typically listen to fairly negative/aggressive music). I played that game when it first came out and then last year I reacquainted myself with it just to find that it was just as amazing as I remembered it. 20 years later and still, nothing compares to the story arc of Janus and Schala. The fact that your lyrics in this song can touch me the same way as the game does is remarkable. I'm in my thirties and very tired of the direction that music has been going for most of my life. Thank you for remembering what music truly is. You are one of the most talented people I have ever seen on KZfaq. I wish you the best in life. May the spirits of your ancestors guide and protect you.

About two days ago, I was thinking of a song from Marcoss plus.
