That was so sweet. I didn't know Kirk only has sisters. He probably had to enjoy getting a tv brother. Kirk seems so down to earth. You could tell he didn't let his fame go to his head. Since that was made at height of Growing Pains popularity.

On the growing pains the return of the seavers his on screen kids had a dog even though it was said kirk was allergic to cat & dog fur & seeing the dog on the movie didn't make sense.

He took time to be a husband and father of 6 kids. Families don't necessarily need a superstar, they need a loving dad. He did what's right in my book.
