That is not the original bass line. The original has single note strokes on the e flat. And then a little three note walk every fourth time. All those other notes are in the right hand of the clavinet.

i should have started with this lesson and not some stupid ass "lets find a root note" stuff i've stumbled on this 5 7 0 stuff on my own in search of the coolest notes possible on bass, who knew i should focus on expanding it thank you so much!

Bare in mind john… with anything like this the drums in the real world be adapting what they play too… so the energy adapts across all the parts especially if you’ve got good players

Thats great, but if you have keyboards in your band, thats not what you should be playing. Also, this makes the song get kinda dull, boring and empty compared to the actual bass line.
