Damn, this is music. Real music. Took it for granted when i was teenager. There was so much very good music those days. Now i know, i grew up in a time full of freedom, love and creativity. Riding in the back seat of a Chevy nova with one of the high school's known pot dealers (whom I just met) and this song comes on over the cassette tape. I knew instantly Supertramp was something special.

A buddy invited me over for a weekend in KL and we did some purple of the micro dot variety. I had never heard ST before, well after that night of trying to hold on to the couch I was sitting on, I never looked back, ST is in my top five and always will be....wow :) this was 1974 I think?? I will be forever grateful Myles, thank you!

Wow! I haven't heard the word purple micro dot in a long time. Heard them talked about among friends that had a few years on me. Bet this was some awesome music to experience on them.

I think this album was way better than 'Breakfast in America'. Perhaps because I'm not so fond of kippers for breakfast. But seriously, Supertramp was a super band. I love everything they recorded.

@@chrisgriff1971 "..At night I hear the hound dogs callin', callin' me a chicken man." Bloody well right, I'll just sit here in my lounge chair, under my umbrella and witness the crime of the century. Could we have kippers for breakfast, Mommy dear? Sorry son, we're fresh out at the moment. Must be some sort of supply chain issue. But as they say on the tele, nothing to see here, lad, now run along.
