In this episode of the YachtWorld LEGENDS videos series viewers get to step aboard the extraordinary, eye-popping, 235-foot superyacht "KOGO" for an insider's look at what makes her one of the most luxurious, innovative and impressive custom-built yachts in the world.
Constructed by Alstom Marine in 2006 with a refit in 2016, the vessel combines a striking Tim Heywood exterior design and superior construction quality with a wonderful oriental-flavored Terence Disdale interior. Warm sophistication, zen and natural elegance are themes that run throughout the entire boat with many interesting finishes and textures coupled with the soft, warm, neutral tones. The overall atmosphere is one of spacious tranquility and relaxation.
KOGO offers luxurious accommodation for 12 charter guests in 5 luxuriously appointed double rooms and 2 twin suites and accommodates 21 crew members. The sensational layout of KOGO's interior adds to the flow and harmony of the décor, making it easy to want to pick up anchor and sail away for a very long time.
She features a large jacuzzi and helipad as well as two cinemas, a fully-equipped gym with steam room, spa and massage room. She also has a dedicated dive room, innovative water level beach club with an 18-shower-head waterfall plus an impressive array of water toys. Also onboard are a full medical facility and hospital onboard.
Powered by twin 1,500 kW pod drives she cruises at an efficient 14-15 knots, tops out around 18 knots and has a range of 7,000 nautical miles.

They jump from one place on board to another and again somewhere else. This is not how a yacht tour makes sense.

Thanks for the feedback. Quite a lot to try and squeeze in on a 235 foot boat in an 11 minute video, but our crew tries hard to show the key features! How would you have presented it?

$70m is just a couple orders of magnitude out of my price range right now, that said, as ridiculous as it is to say, that is actually a pretty attractive price for a vessel of this size and with the features she boasts. She is probably in my top 3 yachts currently on sale up there with Victorious and Icon.

Yes - it is hard to call this mega yacht "affordable"! But it does indeed pack in a lot of features that even more expensive luxury superyachts have onboard, making her well-priced in good company. We totally understand why she'd be on the top of your dream yachts, like Victorious and Icon...Have you seen our other LEGENDS episodes? I was so disappointed ...I saw no guest accommodations, only a flash on one and the number. Chasing each other across the ship was ridiculous

Hi Missy, we showed both the main stateroom and the VIP guest stateroom in this walkthrough. Our coverage of the master stateroom, the main accommodations on the yacht, starts at 2:32 and goes until about 3:30, showing his and hers bathrooms. The VIP stateroom is shown at 4:36. There is indeed a lot to show on a 235 foot boat in about 10 minutes, so we couldn't show every square inch here, but more images are available on the broker listing, if you're interested.
