This past spring, Land Rover invited me out to Brooklyn, NY to be one of the first to experience the incredible new Defender OCTA! And while I wasn’t allowed to capture images myself, their wonderful team was on site to film for us! (Our is KZfaq Video LIVE now)! What is the OCTA? Simply, it’s the most extreme Defender ever and it comes in 2 flavors along with its Diamond inspired toughness. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
🏁 @Alllcarnews Spec sheet: Under the hood is a welcome surprise: A Twin Turbocharged 4.4L V8 with 48v producing 626HP and 553 lb-ft of torque to all four wheels through an 8-Speed Gearbox with a 2 speed transferase. It can hit 60MPH in just 3.8 seconds with a 155MPH TopSpeed. 🏁
The OCTA is way more than just wild looks, enhanced interior, luxury, and a potent (German) V8. Under the skin is JLR’s Hydraulically interlinked 6D Suspension with pitch and roll control along with a 1.1inch lift and 2.7inch wider track with optional 33 inch rubber. A new OCTA mode comes with an Off Road Performance focus enabling off road launch control, off road ABS, TracDSC.DSC Off and more.
Visually, the First edition comes clad with all the accessories, new forged carbon trim, the titanium OCTA logo, 20 inch forged wheels, an exclusive new Faroe Green Paint and a Khaki/Ebony Ultrafabric interior with seamless 3D knitting. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
After over 13,960 durability tests, the Defender OCTA is ready to storm al terrains. Orders are now open with a $152k starting price.

This is the defender 110, not much has changed in length vs a normal 110 (around 197 inches) The width is increased though due to the widebody and larger tires.

Gold plated recovery hooks, 22 inch wheels, ideal for off-roading??. With such a high center of gravity, drag racing your Defender might not be the best idea. People spending 160K on this vehicle are not going to take this near anything approaching a rugged off-road trail. A level dirt-road might be the closest it comes to off-roading,

@@MD-xb1qw GT3RS looks like a race car compared to the base 911. Massive wings etc. This $170k Defender looks like any old Defender. A Benz GWagon has more curb appeal and looks more expensive. Especially the interior. And it is the same money. And there isn’t a $80k version of it. No-one needs a $170k vehicle. So if you spring for that it needs to look like one.

No fake wood here. Build quality pretty solid as well. No vinyl either. You have the option of full leather or this new woven/waterproof vegan materials.
