the mom that brought the case to court reminds me of my mom, complete narcissist. i met my dad as a 25 yr old and i had to do it behind her back, she found out and went absolutely ape shit. wants complete control of my brother and i even though we’re both adults. she didn’t let my dad visit even one time. we lived in my grandparents house and if my mom picked a fight with them, she’d refuse to let them see us, even though we’re in their house and they’re paying the damn bills and doing all the emotional labour in raising us. we’re both a mess today, mentally socially and physically because she’s still trying us. that boys gonna be in therapy a long time, better get out when he has the chance and go no contact. i made the mistake of keeping contact and i have no strength to fight anymore

This right here is what's happening with me when it comes to my X not allowing me to see our daughter. It's a lot more then that though cause my X punishes me fir not wanting to be with her. Last time I seen my daughter she was 4 years old and now she's 11. All I can do is wait and hope that when our daughter turns 16 or 18 she come see me. I've journaled once a week for our daughter so that when she does come she'll have these to read to know what I was thinking and know that I really do love her and wish that I had been in her life because her mother has of course made up all kinds of lies about me,Etc.

Why doesn't Texas take time with each parent into account when calculating support? I have watched several episodes but never saw time sharing taken into consideration. If parents are 50/50 and make close to the same amount there should be very little, if any, child support awarded.

you just know that all that Child Support money is just going to go to Her and very little to the Child like it should. Like, Child Support Money is something that should be going into a Separate bank account, Where that Money is Only for the Child and being used for Only on the Child. Food, Diapers, Doctors, School, building up Funds for the Future to perhaps then give to that Child Once they Reach 18 years Old for either College Tuition or perhaps Down Payment on a House.

I hope the defendant knows that paying child support will allow her the LEGAL right to see her son, whether the plaintiff wants it or not. She is the mother and the other parent of this child. The plaintiff can't forbid her from seeing her son...especially if she is getting child support. All Mom has to do is go to court, show proof that she is the mother and she is paying child support and they can grant her unsupervised time with her son, so she doesn't have to interact with the plaintiff. And it sounds to me like ALL the plaintiff was interested in was the money...and I seriously doubt it had anything to do with supporting the baby. She was grinning like a Cheshire Cat when the judge told her the amount.

In FL family issues like custody and time sharing are handled by the family courts and issues with child support are handled by a child support division. If this case was held in a traditional famaily court then they should've been able to handle custody issues at that time. There are also guidlines that are to be followed when determining child support that werent really mentioned here. By any chance can you link the original case, im very curious.

SO the money goes to the Courts but rarely is used to help in any way the people it is sent to the courts to assist. It is used by the courts to "cover expenses."They are already given more than enough money for any and all cost of the courts. Whoever can pay the best child support is the one that gets the shaft. in 94% of all cases it is the father of the child or children. Also support funding from the Government is continued until in most cases till 18 years of age , of the dependent child. The court system is using child support , in the most corrupt way , That is why they will prosecute all back child support cases.....Follow the money!
