The plaintiff says he dated the defendant for years and they have a teen son. He has custody, but child support was still taken out of his paycheck. He’s suing for the money back. The defendant says the plaintiff assaulted her in front of their child and she’s terrified of him. She says a judge hadn’t signed off on changing the child support.

She cannot be too afraid of him after 11 years and the nerve to take her child's support money when she know longer has custody of the child. Imwhen the courts grant custody of a child to the noncustodial parent, especially a father, you know there is a huge problem when the child was situated with his/her mother.

@@TaxProGirl you have NO idea WHEN he started FIGHTING for his son. ALSO, he COULD have been giving his son's mother a REAL chance to get HERSELF together! He COULD'VE been understanding of the BOND and RELATIONSHIP that a mother and child have with each other! He could have been WAITING until HE got HIMSELF financially, emotionally, AND mentally ready and stabled BEFORE taking on such a HUUUUUGE responsibility! He COULD'VE been WAITING until HE knew that HE'D be a BETTER role model AND father for HIS son! ALSO, It issssss POSSIBLE that they (the parents) had JOINT custody of their son at FIRST and his SON could've asked his dad HIMSELF if he could stay with him PERMANENTLY! I'm pretty sure that his son DIDN'T enjoy switching schools THAT many times. I'm willing to BET that his son DIDN'T want to KEEP making new friends and then having to up and go to ANOTHER school every few months! It's definitely plausible that his son could've ASKED himself, after all, their son issss FOURTEEN 🤷🏾‍♀️ It's just soooooooo many different reasons WHY it could've happened when it happened that it makes NO sense for you to be THIS judgemental of the GREAT LOVING father that he's being NOW!!! smh 🤦🏾‍♀️

Since the plaintiff’s Child Support was all paid up, technically, the defendant was taking food out of her own child’s mouth, clothes off his back, etc., by continuing to collect and spend that money. The plaintiff sounds like an awesome father, and a good man who can acknowledge the mistakes of his past, and have enough wisdom and foresight to help his son avoid making the same mistakes in his future. Whew that man gave a word at the end. I say all the time as a father myself, yes children need to understand kindness as well as how to conduct themselves appropriately and furthermore, as a black father, if we don’t teach them at home first, the streets will teach them and the streets are a lot less forgiving. I believe had they stayed together, being a 2-parent household, that Bible/Street influence from both would have been very effective.

Awesome, wonderful father. We need our black men to continue stepping up, taking lead and showing our young men the way. Despite the false narrative, that black men are deadbeats, many of our black men are truly stepping up today to do what's right. As mothers, we should be supporting them, put your emotions aside and support each other. Very pleased with this father, you can clearly see he has an outlook for his sons future to be bright, prosperous and great and does not mind doing the work necessary to mode his son into a man. People can like it or not, yes women can raise a boy to become a strong adult, but a woman cannot raise a boy to become a Man.

I agree for the most part, but what about the man (or woman) who has not lived the street life? Are they not qualified to educate their children about the HARSH realities of life? I agree with you EXCEPT for the suggestion of counseling. This good man NEEDS NO COUNSELING with this trifling, lying, self deluded woman. What he needs is possibly a good woman and move on with his life. Sadly, there are many like her that destroy the lives of good men who are not as lucky, patient and eloquent as this guy. Who does any woman with a conscience stand in court and before millions of viewers and falsely accuse the father of her own son, a wife beater, beat her in front of her 3 year old son, claim she w as deathly afraid of him for his "violence" and yet steal money out of the mouth of her own son ??? What a despicable human being she is. Look at how calm the man was even during the false claims and even initially when the judge appeared to be taking sides with the woman until he had a chance to speak.. Is that the conduct of a violent man ?? Society and the laws must change to hold people making such frivolous claims accountable. He is lucky that she did not get a chance to completely turn the son against his father and destroy the son as a majority have been doing .

Oh, so how much I can relate to this. Angry, envious, evil woman. I didn't even have to go to court to take care of my child. Left signed cheques with her and made her fill in an amount every month until I had gotten her up to $600 per month. During this time, providing groceries, paid for his school, bought his books, took him on trips at least six times yearly. She was a "Bible Thumper" but was only hiding behind that Bible. Took her to court for custody and she lied her ass off and made some serious allegations. Even said I wasn't taking care of my child. I took out those cancelled cheques over the years and she was busted. Judge reprimanded her. She couldn't even take care of the basic stuff like helping with my son's schoolwork and had him in a mentality where he was supposed to be satisfied with mediocrity. Envious because I had my son at one time and had him in a private Catholic school due to the higher level of education and discipline. Even went up to someone whom I was dating and told her that she doesn't know me and wait, she will see who I really am. Anytime she wasn't dating I knew, because she tried to antagonize me. Son just turned twenty-five years last month. Not where I want him to be just yet; have to get some of those negative thoughts out his mind and motivate him. Reminded him that if he were still with me, he'd have gotten his Master's degree at twenty-two to twenty-three years old. She's now married. I guess she's so-called happy. Did my homework and doesn't know that I know that her husband, who's also a "Bible Thumper" has spent time in jail for several DUI and a couple times for domestic violence in a previous relationship. He can beat on her all she wants, if it gets to that, as long as my son isn't involved in anyway. My job is to protect him.

@@sereneamani1713 I like when people develop this trend of thought. I oftentimes hear people say, where do you go look for men/women, or what type of women/men are you attracted to, when they comment on someone's relationship. My response to anyone, even when my friends and I are speaking in general, "you never know the true essence of a person until quarrel day comes." That's when folks show their real colors. When the relationship is satisfactory to both parties, everything is okay. The minute one gets upset; you see the Tasmanian devil come out of that person. I found this out quickly by the time my child was three years old, and I decided she wasn't for me. Let her tell it, I still wanted her. I tolerated her for the sake of my child and by the time I thought he was old enough at the age of seven years to give him a cell phone, my only conversation with her was to check on his well-being and his education.

I'm proud of his father that he's taking his initiative with his son and is not easy to be a parent because I you know I raise my sons at the single parent mother so you know at the same time it was really hard people think it's easy it's not easy and you know some mothers they have a lot of kids and think it's easy it's not easy so I'm glad the father is there for his son that's the right thing and the mother and you know I hope they get along and get the counseling and they need help God bless

After the plaintiff’s account regarding their altercation, when their Sun (son) was 3, she smirked, as if to say, “okay, I did that…so”. From that point, she lost all credibility. She went to court in a attempt to deceive the judge. And if she was to get away with it, just like with receiving the overpayments of child support, she would have certainly taken advantage of those deceptions.

as much as they may not get along, he sounds like my daddy. I’m a 53 yr old bf and my daddy was hard on us or what we thought was hard. But i’m so glad he was. We bypassed a many relationship problems by following his advice. I hear all these young men n women today talking bout what doesn’t matter when choosing a person in a relationship. Lots of these people reasoning is trash.

So she stole her child’s money from her father with no intent of giving it to her son. In an attempt to not give it back knowing that she was wrong she fabricates an abuse story to help her case.
