Supreme Court hears arguments in case challenging Texas social media law | audio

The Supreme Court heard oral arguments Monday on NetChoice, LLC v. Paxton, one of two cases challenging GOP-backed laws in Florida and Texas that were signed in 2021 and aimed at restricting how social media companies moderate content. The ruling in the cases could impact how social media platforms regulate user content.

That's under the FCC, so I don 't think it applies. I wish mobile phones were turned off at the grid from midnight to 5 p.m except for national, state, and local emergencies or Amber Alerts. Maybe end at 8pm, haven't decided, and no one will agree. Another monopoly. Texas Law-- we all know Texas is the MOST bent state anyplace.

This isn't just about conflict of the 1st amendment but, conflict of "separation of influence" which ironically applies to separation of powers. But, the question is does influence count to the corporations? Arguably it does otherwise we wouldn't have anti trust laws on monopolies due to conflict separation of influence witch comes with trust especially bribery to mainupulate national geopolitics to their own image. Censorship is essentially constructed to create of conflicts influence in geopolitics which is also conflicted with the 1st amend. You can't separate influence without speech and can't separate speech without influence. This arguably is hardest part for the public to conceptualize let alone accept. The question is how much is too much for corporation and Gov't influence in geopolitics when it comes to speech?
