Supro has been producing some real winners lately. Having Mike Hermans, demo your amp is always a good move. Mike could plug into a loaf of bread and it would sound spectacular.

This is truly the most big sounding small amp I've ever tried. No boxiness or nastiness that you get with small amps. Sometimes you want that (Like with a Champ), but in this case, it's amazing to get big tone with such a tiny platform. Its reverb is also incredibly good.

There is something really cool about the messy distortion with the punchy midrange of Supro amps. This one looks like a winner.

Mike, is this comparable to say a Princeton reverb in regards to volume and clean headroom before break up?

Is this amp only? or are you pushing it with OD pedal(s)?

Sorry, but I can't get past the single tone knob. The '65 Princeton Reverb RI is several hundreds less, has been tone controls. It takes pedals very well also.
