and without a helmet too.. if its the wrong kind of scooter without good stability, its extremely easy to crash. Some can easily go over 25-50+mph.. and all you need is a good 20. I hope they never try to enforce any silly laws/taxes/insurances/MPH limiters on scooters/electric bikes soon, as other countries have done this.

A refreshing turn seeing you guide a visitor through LA. His scooter is Fast but is suicide to me to be riding one without a helmet & no knee or elbow protection. No gloves either. If you get a scooter i will watch, but if i were you, get suited up accordingly. I watched to the end. Thanks for the rides-long.👍👍🤙❗️All my support.

The Surrons are 100% safer than electric scooters all things equal in terms of power, speed, and personal body protection. They just crash in much more dangerous ways, most especially throwing you over the handlebars.

That thing can go 45mph definitely faster than the Sur Ron with a 45 mile range. UK$1,549.99 They got a new one that can go 60mph with 50Mile range. Solar FF 2.0 UK$2,299.99. I might just go buy a Scooter after watching this video.

@@adrianc6534 they are pretty stable, I’ve done one hand w mine at 40mph. It’s got 11” tires that are 3” wide. Really stable, rode over potholes and bumps and I’m still fine

@@royalsd The key is to start with a slow commuter scooter and work your way up. Too many people think they can just go and pick up a 50 mph scooter and start riding it like it's a beginner's machine.

@@tayh3168 I started w a starter one and then jumped straight to the big guns. It takes some adjustment but you can get it quite easily since scooters are easy to ride. Although I got bored of it, sold it and bought an euc which I learned in two day.

Yeah scooters arnt no joke. I just realized your buddy has a solar. I wasnt aware of solar until i saw the solar eclipse ebike. That solar is probably faster then your sur on if its a 72 v which i thing it is. I was going to order the solar eeclipse. Its pretty sweet, all carbon fiber, ready to be registered as it has a 17 digit vin, turn signals, brake light and horn. Dope video.

Them bars on the scoot are just too high for my taste, & I'm 6ft 1". Still nice but I have way more control over everything with low bars, it's just more nimble. I gotta upgrade eventually thou. Mine only tops out at 30, lame. It's just enough to keep my own in city traffic & that's about it. Although it'll hit 35 on hills, I think I could do better. I'm thinking bout stepping up to the Wolf Warrior X. I like that it's a smaller frame & doesn't push over 100lbs like all the other big boys, still keeps a decent top speed around 45 & that's good enough for "most" traffic around me. (I'd love to get the 62mph Wolf but... I gotta attempt to keep SOME portability, jank is too heavy)

I just broke my collar bone on my scooter. To see him going thru the dirt 30 mph, no helmet, in shorts. well I shit my pants. the problem is those 10 Inch tires they are not good off road. I wish I could post my x-ray. Be safe were a helmet full body armor going over 20mph

Yea, I originally wanted a surron But I ended up buying the Varla eagle one scooter and it goes 40 mph top speed while I only payed $1600 instead of $4000 which is more than half the price of a surron.
