I got these as well. I agree they’re more handsome than cutesy so I ended up dying my suede a different color. My boots ended up having extra glue too, so the dye didn’t dye those areas, but since it’s so close to the edge, you really can’t see it unless you’re really looking. I also removed the sure grip logo on the tongue and I think it made it look better.

How well did they break in? Are they more comfortable now? Also , assuming they did break in, how long did it take?

Hiya I was wondering how would you compare these with the Beach Bunnies? Would you recommend these instead of the Beach Bunnies (considering the Boardwalks are $70 higher in price)? thanks!

Clara Anastasia Great question! I talk about this a little bit in my video where I review my beach bunnies after a week of skating. I think it comes down to personal preference and my opinion isn’t fact buuuuuut I love the beach bunnies a thousand times more than the boardwalks! I think you get a much better boot for your money! The boardwalks have zero padding and personally I like having some squish! The ankle lip that the bunnies have also make it much more comfortable.

so fascinating to see what impact 20 cent worth of carton can have on the presentation of a product. Would you like them less if they came in a plane box with no logo? This is a real question, I am a product designer and try to figure out what customers really want.

I think packaging goes a long way in making a customer feel like their purchase is valued 🤷🏼‍♀️ but I’ve seen simplicity done very well! Just depends on the companies approach I guess!

Are these boardwalk park skates? or just the regular boardwalks? I believe these are park ones bc of the metal plate

These boardwalks were the Route 70 package from Roller Skate Nation so they aren’t plated the same as the regular boardwalks. I think they would do well in a park scenario but they aren’t as comfy as some other skates.

Im considering purchasing this boardwalk skate, I’m a true size ladies 9. Was thinking about ordering a size 8, but now you’re saying a 7 would be better... What do you recommend?

I actually ended up rehoming my boardwalks because after a little while I couldn’t handle how snug they were. I would go with an 8 if I were you!

I’m a ladies true fit sneaker size 6.5 and I’m a mens 6 . Even tough the chart said 5 . The 5 had my toe compressed against the boot . Just fyi w my experience
