I am a pear shape with a round back and have several fit issues. I never even thought of this approach. I can already imagine some of those issues literally disappearing. Thank you!

Thank you for this video Glenda! It looks like the perfect solution for the diagonal folds I had on back coming up from waist towards upper center back. Can't wait to try it! Then my sample will be ready for wearable fabric!

Love this tutorial, Glenda. Very clear and makes a lot of sense. I would be interested in knowing how to add a shoulder seam but I can't see the link for that lesson. Could you please advise? Many thanks!!!

Thank you for this video. I have a rounded back and my jackets flare out at the back over the butt. Will angling the seam forward take care of this please? There are no vents or darts on the jacket which are men's garments.

No, that won't solve the issue. Do a rounded back tune-up first. kzfaq.info/get/bejne/irKonqWFx7jYip8.html Then you need to increase the measurement dots on your master pattern at the hip.
