They don't make any money by selling virtual cards It wouldn't be that difficult to take information from previous duels and match a player against someone that counters his/her playstyle. This way you force players to change decks, buy new cards, spend money (ya know, the major interest of any company like Konami) I'm not saying that this is what happens here, but that it could be possible Also played MTG Arena for a while and thought the same about the game. For what I saw in some reddit posts, seems that a lot of people agree that the game is kinda rigged (for economic purposes) It's ok for you to think that what happens is solely confirmation bias. I agree that at least the major part of it is so... But can you assure that it's not possible to implement the kind of algorithms I previously described? I don't know about programming so I can't really tell but I don't think it would be impossible (Edited some words that didn't like how they looked)

Real question here? How does memories of hope get numerons to their win condition? Limiter on the other hand does get you to your win condition if your opponent tries to big brain you by not playing.

Except if you're confident that it's Numeron, that's the correct play. They generally play more than 3 kaiju/lava golem but at most only 3 limiter removal (if not less). Just because it didn't work out in this sample size of 4 doesn't make it incorrect. Make them draw the out

@@hail2jigglypuff168 I was only talking about Numeron in the specific context of Bo1 Master Duel. With siding, numeron is an irrelevant deck with many answers. In Bo1, you simply have to make the best play possible and understand that your opponent will sometimes have the answer.

@@jasonlu4514 We're already playing 12 ways to get Numeron network. 3x network, 3x Numeron wall, 3x planet pathfinder, 1x terraforming, 2x Piri Reis Map. Risking banishing a network is a horrible plan. Also memories of hope is a "win more" card. Only usable after you have your wincon on board.

@@jasonlu4514 well in most decks, a 3 of would be like your combo pieces or extenders or something, but in Numeron, it is your win condition. Banishing all three of Network would be an instant scoop, but so would banishing all three of Calling. It's a tiny bit like playing Desires in an Exodia deck. Plus, while you are deck thinning, banishing even one Network is actually pretty bad. 3/40 is better than 2/30. On top of that, you're also likely to banish your Walls, Planet Pathfinders and Terraformings which increases your need to hard draw the card which is again not good because again, 3/40 > 2/30. Of course, when I say all of this, I could just be trying to cope with some of my past experiences and it's not actually a valid argument. I used to try playing Desires in a Nurse Burn deck and I kept on losing because I was constabtly banishing my best burn cards.

@@Nathan55411 It's not exactly like Exodia since you can't afford to banish even one key card. To me it just seems like a good consistency booster. Like one of the previous reply said, you have 12 ways to active network, so if you already have them you don't have to use pot. But if you don't have network in hand, you might aswell gamble for it right? I'm saying this from the perspective of a player going through every game as fast as possible to climb fast. Having the option to use net work more than once will increase the overall win rate of the deck for sure. But going to turn 4/6 kinda of defeats the point of this decks right?

The deck is blessed, every time I play it I somehow end up getting a lava golem/kaiju (most times both) and feather duster and it almost always completely wins me the game

Numeron players are also scary because they are impossible to insult, their brains are so smooth, the insults just slide right off

the core engine of numeron is so compact that they can afford to have 3/4 of their deck just being handtraps & board breakers.

Same thing happen in Dota and most modern games. It's called "manipulating matchmaking to increase player interaction" . If the game is too easy people will get bored and leave the game so the matchmaking gives you bad hand/give opponent god hand/match you with bad players/match you vs smurfs etc... to keep the game challenging and addictive.

@@Merilirem i have got impossible RNG too many times myself. Literally 90% of time where I mullegen a card by any card effect I draw the same card I shuffeled. This is just a small example.
