This is one of the best surf fishing days we have ever had! It has been a long time since
we have been to San Luis Pass to do some surf fishing. We figured we'd give it a shot to try to see if there just might be the elusive crevalle jack. Sure enough, we got more than what we bargained for!!

@@BeachBomberFishing I just fish from the bank. Sea wolf park broken bridge in bolivar. I have to have a stable platform to fish from. Long gone are the days of rock fishing. I watch you’ll at surf side and wish I could do that again.

I caught a jack just like that a few years ago. Water was blue and when we hit that green water on the way back trolling i had a bite. Took me 45 minutes to pull that sucker out. Took us off course by like 2 miles lol wildest fight ever. And all yall chillin like homies. Thats dope man.

Are you somewhat paralleling the bridge to the Pass, then driving up the beach? We fished that place hard 80's & 90's. Wading with popping rods on artificials targeting big trout...you could keep 20 back then. Occasional jacks, sharks and even tarpon would show up. Tight Lines! 🤠

One thing that always holds true..... the good fishermen can catch fish when others are getting skunked & they can catch fish on just about any bait -n- tackle they've got. Of course give em' what they like & they'll probably do even better but some of you know what I'm talking about? There's a small percentage of guys who just have, "IT" when it comes to fishing and the Beach Bomber is one of that group. You can't catch em' if your HooK ain't in the water so I hope to see ya'll out there.... peace & GB ALL
