how do you make any 2d geometry in x and y axis have a continous smaller size version of that 2d geometry in each increasing of z axis. for example: a circle in x and y axis has stacked circles in top of each other with smaller size than previously in each higher z axis, making it as a half sphere or hollow half-sphere in xyz dimension

How about solid of revolution between 2 functions, like f(x)=x² + 1; and g(x)=x between the interval [1, 3]
