The GeoGebra 3D graphing calculator is a great tool for anyone studying three-dimensional geometry or multivariable calculus! In this video we'll talk through the interface, how to graph functions of two variables, how to draw (some) surfaces, and how to find intersections of things.

00:55 - 3D Calculator Interface
01:15 - Graphing Functions
02:47 - Adjusting Appearances

Thanks for the video. GeoGebra seems to be great tool to visualize equations. Here's what I need to do, and I would be grateful if you could do a video to show me (and others) how it can be done. In Excel, I drew a graph using several points. I want to use GeoGebra to rotate this X-Y graph around its Y axis to create a curved surface or volumetric object. As a simple example, use several points to draw half a circle, so once it is rotated around the Y-Axis, it becomes a sphere. It would be great if you could show two more examples on this specific topic. Looking forward to it ... 🙂

Hi. Thank you for the great video. Could you please explain how to show labels for axes? I cannot see them though I have ticked the boxes in the settings. I do not want to use the Label tool that enables me to put whatever label wherever. Many thanks in advance.

I mean I need something I give the base 1, base 2, the height and number of sides it draws it for me. I wonder why is it so hard to find something. It's strange.

How do you add a slider/moveable object in the 3d calculator?
@MathwithDrew
@MathwithDrew 3 жыл бұрын
If you create a point with variable names as the coordinates (try "P = (A,B,C)"), Geogebra will make a slider for each of the variables and you can move the point around in the 3D window. Then you could make other objects based on that point (like "Sphere(P, 2)") and you'll get a sphere that you can move by moving the center point. I hope this gives you something to work with!
