Dr Imtiaz Hussain is a Consultant General and Laparoscopic Surgeon. After graduating from Nishtar Medical University, Pakistan, he visited Australia for Australian Medical Council exam. He completed his FCPS degree which is the highest degree in Pakistan in the field of General Surgery. During his postgraduate residency program, he had also trained himself in the field of Urology, Plastic Surgery, Paediatric Surgery and Orthopaedic Surgery.
Since 2012, he, as a volunteer, is working as an instructor for the Basic Life Support (BLS) Program in Fatima Jinnah Medical University Lahore, Pakistan. In this course, he is the Master Trainer and teaches CPR and other lifesaving techniques to Doctors , Medical Students, N
Since 2015, he is working as a Clinical Exam Coordinator for the examination of FCPS part 2 ( Clinical Exam) by College of Physicians and Surgeons Pakistan (CPSP).
He has also served as an in-charge of Temporary Hospital setup by Government of Pakistan in PC Hotel Lahore for Pakistan Super League (PSL) matches and also for the matches against the Zimbabwe cricket team.

AOA. Eid Mubarak. I had a minor fissure problem last year. The doctor suggested a colonoscopy. That exaggerated the problem. The problem continued and now it converted to fistula. The surgeon advised for a surgery to be held in July due to her leaves. They are doing it in a day surgery with no admission.

Agar aapko pakhane wali jagah ke qareeb do jagaon se pus (raisha) aur khoon aa raha hai, toh ye peri-anal fistula ya kisi purani infection ka nateeja ho sakta hai, khaaskar agar wahan pehle abscess ka operation ho chuka hai. Fistula tab banta hai jab abscess theek hone ke baad ek nali ya raasta ban jata hai jo rectum ya anal canal ko skin se connect karta hai. Yeh kuch qadam hain jo aap le sakte hain: 1. **Doctor se Mashwara**: Jaldi se apne doctor ya colorectal surgeon se mashwara karein. Woh is iltehab ka imtihan kar ke behtar treatment plan de sakte hain. 2. **Sitz Bath**: Din mein 2-3 dafa garam paani mein beth kar sitz bath lein taake sujan aur takleef kam ho. 3. **Safai**: Infection se bachne ke liye affected area ko saf rakhna bohot zaroori hai. Halke antiseptic se safai karein. 4. **Antibiotics**: Agar doctor ko zaroorat lage, toh woh aapko antibiotics prescribe kar sakte hain taake infection control ho sake. 5. **Dawa**: Agar aapko dard ya takleef ho, toh doctor se mashware ke baad pain relievers ya koi topical ointment istemal kar sakte hain. Ye problem kaafi takleef-deh ho sakti hai, is liye kisi bhi iltehab ya infection ko serious lein aur fori tor par doctor se contact karein.

Common procedures that might be done on an outpatient basis include: - **Fistulotomy**: The fistula tract is opened up, cleaned, and left to heal from the inside out. - **Seton Placement**: A seton (a piece of surgical thread) is placed in the fistula tract to help drain it and keep it open, promoting healing. ### Hospital Stay Required For more complex fistulas, or when the fistula tract is high or involves significant portions of the sphincter muscles, a short hospital stay might be required. Anal fistula ke surgery, jaise ke Seton placement ke baad, zakham ka heal hone ka waqt alag alag hota hai, jo ke mukhtalif factors par mabni hota hai. In factors mein shamil hain: 1. **Fistula ki severity aur location** 2. **Patient ka health status aur immunity** 3. **Post-operative care** Aam tor par, Seton placement ke baad zakham ko puri tarah se heal hone mein chand hafton se lekar chand mahine lag sakte hain. Average time frame takreeban 6 se 12 weeks hota hai. Fistula in ano surgery ke baad kuch logon ko stool control mein temporary issues ho sakte hain, khaaskar agar surgery ke dauraan anal sphincter muscles ko bhi touch kiya gaya ho. Yeh condition aksar temporary hoti hai aur waqt ke sath theek ho sakti hai jab healing hoti hai aur muscles apne normal function par wapas aate hain. Lekin, agar aapko lagta hai ke yeh masla zyada waqt tak rahe raha hai, toh yeh zaroori hai ke aap apne surgeon ya doctor se mashwara karein. Woh aapki condition ko assess karke aapko behtar guidance de sakte hain. Kabhi kabar, pelvic floor exercises ya physiotherapy bhi madadgar sabit ho sakti hai stool control ko behtar karne mein. Fistulectomy ke 6 mahine baad bhi agar white discharge aata hai, to yeh indicate karta hai ke shayad healing process complete nahi hua hai ya koi secondary infection ya complication ho sakti hai. Aise halat mein doctor se dubara consult karna zaroori hai. Yahan kuch steps aur options diye gaye hain jo aapko consider karne chahiye: ### Steps to Take: 1. **Doctor se Milain**: Apne surgeon ya colorectal specialist se dobara appointment lein.
