Tom has two kids with Nichol and his religion has not stopped him from interacting with these two children it’s because Nichol understands and has not locked the door between him and his two children with her. She is a good mother. His religion has not done anything to take these children away from him.

Her relationship with them has been very distant because she was perceived as not good for them because she wasn't a practicing scientologist. Her relationship with them was discouraged. Tom has never been denied access to Suri he made the decision not to see his daughter. The divorce decree gave him liberal access to his daughter that he hasn't exercised, he's deliberately neglected his daughter. The only thing he followed through with in the divorce decree was the child support because he had no choice.

Attacking a child for a father's sins is reprehensible, and you should be ashamed of yourself. He chose not to be involved in his child's life and abandoned her. Why would she feel close to him when he never wanted a relationship with her. He was given liberal visitation rights in the divorce decree along with his child support payments. He made the choice not to see his daughter he wasn't denied visitation rights as far as child support that's his responsibility as a parent.
