My wife is Wong Jawa from Lelydorp Suriname. Grand parents came to Suriname from East Java. We have many family in Jakarta and in Pekan Baru Indonesia. Many Family in Suriname and many family in Nederland. We live in Groningen Nederland. I am born in Groningen. Next month All Family in Nederland goes to Suriname for 1000 Days Mae. Beautiful documentary 👍. My heart break's when I see footage of the forests of the Amazon being decimated which in turn has a major impact on animals, birds, reptiles, insects, the climate and countless other areas of nature 😢.

Stupid incorrect map used at the start of the documentary. Please do your research first. You cannot use an offensive map of the country you want to portrait and introduce to the world, with wrong information about its bordsrs. That's bad and unprofessional work. Use the official map issued by the government of the Republic of Suriname!
