Let me join you in saying thanks to your brothers for the beautiful gift they sent you. You look absolutely stunning Habiba. You were correct in your comments . Even in the Caribbean, Governments seem not to care about, the well-being of their citizens of African Descent. It's really sad to see after soo many centuries we are still being treated as if we have no value when true history would show that we are the Original People. It is so heartbreaking what is going on in Northern Nigeria. My Dad, May Allah have mercy on his soul when I spoke to him during Eid, that I intend coming to Nigeria 🇳🇬, he told me to hold on for now and he passed 2 months after. It gives me sleepless night when I think of going home to visit my family. Ibrahim did a good job.

Love this doc! Been following you since your dad came to visit! Connected both as a doc and Nigerian in the US. Happy to see you are slowly reconnecting even with your siblings. Giving us rich Hausa auntie vibes, they understood the assignment o! 👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽like you could be in Zaria or Kano or something,. Like someone mentioned, you are the oldest, and that holds a special place, so everyone looks up to you. Your brother Abba looks like your other brother (from your mom). I can see him and Ibrahim put a lot of thought to it, and it’s also their way of trying to bring their older sister back into the fold. You can go to Abuja, and meet them there, as it’s still safe. We should never be prisoners to the mistakes our parents or trapped in the past. I’ve been watching your blogs over the years and you have such effervescent personality and innate sensitivity I feel as if I know you! Would definitely be at home in your presence and that if your lovely family! Ever since your father’s visit a few years ago it has been my hope that you take us back home to Nigeria but your anxiety and trepidation about conditions there are definitely warranted. There has been a complete breakdown of security, law and order. It would be very risky at this time. Thank you for speaking the truth about the country. It grieves my heart that such enormous potential is being squandered. Religious and ethnic sentiments are continuously manipulated by the ruling cabal to entrench power and impoverish the masses. Hopefully the majority will soon awaken to this travesty.

My heart hurts listening to you talk about 🇳🇬 I went to school in Bauchi state in the early 80s and I use to travel from Enugu state. As a young girl back then it was really safe for me, my parents didn’t worry about me travelling alone . Now I can’t even travel within Abuja on my own because of the fear of kidnapping.

I’d say, this is another one of your beautiful videos. First, your story made me relived difficulties I had in the past as am also from a different background, culture and religion from that of my husband. 38 years later and still married to a “stranger” as my family used to say, I am happy to have settled with what’s best for me. Yes, my husband too has 17 siblings all from different (4) mothers, I haven’t heard them referring to each other as “step” brother or sister. The care and respect they have for each other are being pass on to their children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. Your brother has tailored a very beautiful attire. So nice😇and loving of them. Sorry to hear about what’s happening north of Nigeria. Sad but it’s good to hear your opinions and care for the country.

I am from the yoruba tribe living in London UK, the truth is they don't want the help of Nigerians in the diaspora, we have become their enemies. Those in government want to keep the people in Nigeria poor and mute. That way they can continue to divide and conquer the masses. However for humanity sake, we can continue to exercise our freedom of speech where it matters, through international bodies, without fear of repercussions being that we are not in Nigeria.

You have such a rich history. Sometimes you have to let go of past. Things happen that children have nothing to do with and control over. Often times kids take on their mother's pain and hurt but your relationship is with your father is not the same as your mother. Men of Nigeria have a different set of status and responsibly all together. They own the ppl that helped him go yo the University among other traditional things. He perhaps suffered in silence too. Men are less expressive. Your Nigerian sibling are nice looking and I know your daddy is proud of how successful you all have become. I divorce from a Nigerian and have 3 kids. I am not bitter or sad. I encourage my kids to to know their step mom. Enjoy their dad family and I enjoy the blended family. I'm remarried. We all gather for our kids events. Somethings you get over and move on. Life is short and I want my kids to stay connected to their roots in U.S. as well as Nigeria. Love your videos stay bless and stay well. Peace.
