I was walking through the New York City subway on my way home and caught Alanis Morissette and Jimmy Fallon singing on the subway platform. Was a lot of fun...a true New York City moment.

I do believe Jimmy is a little tipsy. I love the entire jagged little pill album..her voice is very unique.

It’s all scripted. The crowd is notified, ain’t no way that many people don’t get on their train and gather there in 30 seconds. The world is a stage

I sense a lot of people knew something, maybe because of security and entourage… there’s generally not that large of a crowd around singers in the subway unless some really sense early what’s going on.

You call it a surprise, but when you just so happen to be at the same location as Alanis Morissette, isn't it ironic, don't you think? A little too ironic. And yeah, I really do think!
@julianlewis17922 жыл бұрын
We are supposed to be able to figure out that "No one knows..,." doies not mean literally no one at all. Of course a few people saw them setting up etc., but for most of the other people in the subway, it was a surprise.

I feel like these things are not so random But staged
@MrKellykopp Жыл бұрын
Not staged. We had no idea who they were.
@megafan20003 ай бұрын
It's staged in that this is recorded for the Tonight Show and we had to pretend we didn't know who it is. I was at the one Jimmy did with Green Day a month ago (it's on my channel). The details on how to spread word will probably vary by the artist but in my case someone on Green Day's team posted on a message board that GD likes to "Rock a Fella at 8". Sure the people randomly passing by at that exact moment wouldn't know, but the congregated crowd knows exactly what's happening. The crowd gathered here knew Alanis was going to be there and when.
