Huge thanks to Mr. Branham for sending such a quality built crackerbox hull. I'm thinking about going all scale, from the driveline to the paint and hardware or should I go for an all out performer? Either way this build will take a while to complete, I will do a full build series starting with paint..

What a wonderful gift , great job on the lay up and it looks like he started with a good buck . Congrats on the time he took , the two metal brackets i would guess is for the transom reinforcement considering the thinnest of the hull . You will definitely do this project justice .

Lucky! That is a super nice boat and so clean. Best of all, I'm building a wood boat about the same size, so I will be watching closely. First speed boat for me. Hopefully, you keep it to scale and scale speed.

I'm thinking red/burgundy top & bottom with white sides. Small 2960 motor 3000kv with a smaller prop, straight shaft with scale looking trim plates

I can tell you from years of boating this guy knows how to mold. There is hardly no seem which is what's great about his build. I hope he sells his little boats to the boating community. I would buy it just for the way he molds with no seems. Do we get a contact email for him. Let me know. I'm excited as well.

I couldn't agree more, definitely one of the nicer fiberglass hulls I have in my fleet, and the craftsmanship is quite amazing.

My first “fast” rc boat was a cracker box made of wood, Octura hardware, brushed motor, mechanical speed control, two servos, and the latest and greatest up grade for that time, battery eliminating circuitry 😳 yep we have come a long way baby, Oh and not to mention the two stick radio was as big as the boat.

Not the ole mechanical speed control, that's like an eight track compared to the bluetooth. Lol. I never ran a mechanical speed control, I had one but never could get it working.

You should check out the 3d printed M-Jet boats. They are very power and wild to drive.

I don't think so, he's a hobbyist building for fun. Next time I speak with him I'll ask and let you know. Beautiful layup and clean lines, just put a coat of primer on it.
