Beastly Garage hey I’m looking for aftermarket led headlights for my 7gen. Would recommend these lights? Is it a good purchase?

Yes they hold up I have had the exact same ones on my car for 3 years now I have a 07 for 115 bucks you can't beat that.. and what I did when I first got them and took off the plastic on the front I coated them with the Meguiars clear coat and I've never had a problem

just got mine installed, just 3 years late lmao god dang though they look GREAT @brainos.jar on insta for pics, i've already got a few good shots of these lights wiring honestly wasn't all that difficult, just take your time and use your resources and it'll come together

Yes, you'll need to connect the ground wire to the chassis and connect the led bar power wire to the parking light wire. Not much wiring involved.

you need to splice the park lights to connect the led strip light

It's fairly simple. Get a test light. Pull the blinker bulb out. Turn on blinker. Ground the test light and touch it to the connections going into the plug. The test light will come on when the blinker does. You will know that the OTHER wire is the park (or running) light. Open the harness wrapping. Follow the wires back a few inches and cut. That line will wire into the LED strip of the new headlight. Run a new ground wire from the new headlight to an existing ground, or grind the paint off of a spot on the cars header panel so it makes good metal to metal contact, put in a small bolt, nut, and washers, then spot shot it with some rustoleum paint. Finish the install.

That sucks. Check all of your wiring and make sure your grounds are good. If that doesn't work return them for a new pair. LED lights don't blow easily.

@@BeastlyGarage , I'm on my second pair , both led strips went out on first pair within a week, the second pair, one led strip went out within a day. Very unhappy with the DNA lights.
