How to Install eBay JDM Fog Lights on a Honda Accord

The Video a lot of you have been waiting for! How to wire JDM Fog lights from eBay! This is honestly a very easy wiring to do, just takes some time to do. I tried my best to explain everything but if your still confused, feel free to drop a comment down below or message me via instagram. Also if you do plan on getting these exact fog lights, you will have to do some modification to your bumper cut outs since these are not the OEM ones. Don't worry, thats easy to do too, just look at my other videos if you need some further explanation. Great video! One thing on my Honda accord 2006, one can wire through the left wheel well. There is a hole that can be punched through into the cabin by the fuse box. Taking the cover off the wheel well is fairly simple and it basically runs underneath exactly where the hood latch runs. So that is also an option. Greatly appreciate this video as I too was confused about connecting it in the cabin.

Great video. Thumbs up. Wish I seen this video when I had my 7th gen. had a 06 accord same color as yours had someone do this for me. All I know is he spliced into my parking light wires so when I activated parking lights the foglights came on.

Does the red wire from the relay connect directly to the switch red wire? I have a white wire and I am not sure if it should be connect to the fuse box?

Can use the oem fog light harness from 04accord with those same fog lights you have since I already have the harness ran? I just wanna swap the fog lights to that style?

Hello There...I bought JDM fog light from Ebay. It has Fog light harness and Switch Harness. Both of harness have so many plugs connection and bare wires. It does not look simple like yours. It is OEM Parts. Please help. or else can tell me where to buy not OEM parts. thanks.

I just hooked up the same lights the same way you did and they turn on and they turn off when I turn off the car but my switch is not turning them off with that be my switch?

When you add a fuse , you have the 7.5 fuse from the ACC #32 spot. You obviously have to add another fuse for the fog light circuit. Does it matter if it’s a 7.5 amp fuse or 5 amp fuse

I have an 05 accord,and I plan on doing the conversion soon as well as with the fog lights,but where you have the switch,I'm not sure where to put mines,because it seems to be in the same spot where my sunroof control switch,just curious as to how I could still have this

B Creative short answer, you can’t. My mom’s 2007 Honda Pilot EX-L came with fog lights which are toggled by a switch on the headlight/turn signal stick, and they had a light on the dash that lit up when they were on. I’ve been looking to do something like that for my 07 Accord SE but I don’t have any of those three switches on the left of the steering wheel in use so I might just use this guy’s solution.

props for taking the time! I want to install a set on my wife's car. How is the light output on these? Also do they give you the relay with the wires attached or do you need to follow the diagram on the relay??? Thanks!!!!

jewllake thanks man! And light output is great! They give a lot wider output and you can always change bulbs if you want something brighter. And yes it they relay is already attached

Rather than using something as thick as a pencil to push the wire through the firewall, use a piece of a wire coat hanger, and bend the end of it into a tight hook. Loop the wire through that hook, fold it over and tape it. That will go through the hole in your firewall much easier.

Why is the red wire connected to the battery when you already have it connected it to the acc power fuse?

The red wire is power for the fog lights, the ac power is power for the switch

If you ordered the same ones from the video, you will have to cut some off as it is not a direct fit. It's pretty easy

+Pie 4life you might have tapped into a power source that doesn't turn off when the car is off what did you connect your power source from the switch to?

The big thic white cable under the steering wheel. And another connected to the big white cable with a red line on it. The fog lights turn off when the car is off so that's a good sign...but the little switch is always on which i don't get..... i was thinking of pulling the switch apart and just breaking the led light inside that way it won't draw power. in your video at 8:26 you can see the big white cable which is the ACC and next to is another cable that's white with a red strip. Thats how I was told to do it by the spec D tune video i followed.... :)

update i tested both wires when the key was out and the ACC line is on.... no mater what i think ill run both power lines to the white wire with a red strip on it

Oh sweet you inspired me to do some stuff to my car!! Mine is an 05.. But I need a new bumper I got the car about a year ago and I got it with the bumper kinda messed up its just gotten worse all those little clips are broken.. And I'm in south Florida with all this rain we got I went thru a puddle and it finished the job... Lol it's kinda just on there right now..

What we did was we connect the exposed wire onto the positive side of the battery
