The main logic disconnect was mentioned at 21:15. If always planning to jam blank rivers then a jam on turn is better to ensure we get the money in before a potential scare card comes off.

I know you've been doing this for years, but I'm always impressed with how quickly you get to what seems like the "correct" answer with what the play is. I watch all your vids, and often I'll quickly think what to do and its the same as your thoughts, but often I'll also think something different and then listen to your analysis and agree with you - love the vids man thanks!

I hate the flop raise. Even after he talked through it, it seemed really bad. Any decent player is just quickly folding QJ after it goes donk lead raise and thats a disaster. It's a dry board you have two players left to act and you have position on the guy who donked. I've never seen a more clear slow play spot in my life. Also this is probably the easiest turn jam I've ever seen and for Bart to say anything else makes me think maybe he had a stroke last night or something . I love Bart he's normally right on especially in his poker analysis but he gets a D minus for this hand.

Quickly? Lol Bart can talk about one poker hand, no, one poker street, for so long that if people actually went thru all this processing at the table we'd only see about 2-3 flops per hour

I much prefer a turn overbet with 22. Its a prime candidate. Also i think Bart is slightly underestimating opponents. They can find hero folds if we 3 bet the turn, which is a super nutted line 99% of the time. Don't hate it though. Wish you discussed turn sizing more.

You can almost never underestimate poker players. The line from the actual hand is super nutted too and he didn't fold either. Actually just the fact of making bets in 2/5 should be super nutted because whenever people call too much, even by a small amount, all bluffs are losing money, and there isn't a 2/5 table in the world where people don't call too much.

AQss is the one hand that I find gets played weirdly/unpredictably by a lot of people - they overvalue it and undervalue it...sometimes doing both on the same hand, so I won't eliminate AQhh, but this smells like Q8....maybe specifically Q8hh. I'm not sure QJ/QThh call the river. A8hh or any 8xhh would be an odd donk on the flop.

Bart, you say the word “during” weirdly. You emphasize the second part of the word, instead of the first part. “da-RING”.. just thought you should know. (edit: he says it 23 seconds, 27 seconds, and 57 seconds)

Q8 Heart is the most possible hand given the action on the flop and turn.

Surprised to not see AQh mentioned as a possibility with the turn action, although the guy is probably 3 betting the turn anyway. With a fishier player I might be more likely to put them on that, although it wouldn't really change any of the action. I do like the turn jam though, likely would have gone for that.

Yeah I’m just jamming turn. He’s not check-raise folding Qxhh or two pair.

Aq raises pre-flop. You can definitely jam the turn or you can click the turn jam river. What you can't do is just call the turn c/r.

QXhh or 8xhh being x/r for a semi-bluff, it blocks pocket queens and pocket 88's as hero shouldnt have pocket deuces for value in this spot.

Excluding Q8hh, does any other 8xhh, even A8hh, donk the flop?

was in a similar hand recently, almost exact runout. Crazy part about my hand was the very strong line I was forced to take on the flop (calling a raise) was that that got the KK to fold on the flop.

In my local casino. 90% of the time you are facing a donk on a board like this it's KQ, QJ, or QT. The other 10% is usually something like Q8s.

I really enjoyed how soft the games last week in vegas were. Was my first time playing NLHE in LV (played limit a few times decades ago there). I played 1/3 and 1/2 though. Horeshoe was nice and MB was super soft. I ended up playing 16hrs at MB just because it kept getting better.

At least for the center strip casinos like Aria, Bellagio, And the Paris cash game, Cash games during the series are absolutely tighter and nittier. I’ve experienced it 3 years in a row now playing 2-5 and 5-10. Just way more regs and competent players. If you want to find a better game you need to go down to resorts or off strip.

Donking the flop in a multiway pot is usually a sign of a strong hand. Most of the time the opponent is going to have at least two pair or at a minimum a big combo draw. In this case there are no real draws except for J,9 and 10,9 which aren't going to be leading out. Villain has to have Q,8s, Q,2s maybe Q,4s after turning two pair on the turn.
