I got the 2019 model Svartpilen 401 as my first bike about 6 months ago. It’s a great beginner bike and a LOT of fun!

Great video and great wife. After having a licence since 40 years, I bought my 401 last year and looking forward riding again in april. I was a little scarry but also enjoy the riding now. I wish you much fun with your Husqvarna, drive save and make some more good videos. I like you filming from outside and not from the drivers position! Greetings Franz 🔆🔆🔆

Thanks! Yeah it’s really difficult for her. I will not be surprised if this bike is sold and we get her something else. I definitely should have had her test ride it first

@xpeditionpgh in the uk 🇬🇧 you have to do the main bike test to ride anything over 125cc which cost around £1200 pounds if I decide to do the main bike test then I would go from 125cc to the husky 200cc or the 401cc the husky 400cc is a brilliant motorbike you have got a lovely machine

There is a lowering kit not sure on the price in the USA but on the 125cc also you can lower the seat with a Cspanner but I was told by motorbike retailers to buy a lowering kit and have it done by the professionals check it out with your retailers they should be able to advise you what to do with the 401 goodluck

maybe a 200cc would be easier for her, but its okay to drop the bike if its your first time and with a 400cc. I have and honda dax 70st and switch to a 400cc that weights 190kg that shit scared me and I almost droped it a few time but I saved it hahah now im more confident its just practice

Greetings from India. Great video. I have some queries.... Is that a 2019 model that you bought or the latest 2024 one ? If its the 2019 model then can you please let me the your wife's height please. I'm 5'4" myself with an inseam length of 28.6 inch. I was wondering whether I'll be comfortable on that bike. The 2024 model has a shorter seat height.

This is the 2023 and she is 5’4’. It’s a little tall for her. But if you’re not a new rider I don’t see much of a problem.
