Yep they are money pits and not the most reliable but Joe is mechanically inclined and I'm sure will do most if not all the work himself.

@@bigjay6743 yeah they arent difficult to work on he will be more than capable but they do require a lot of work and not that good off road.im in the uk so we have lots of the older ones and they are far superior and easier to get for cheap

I know right. Im 41 no kids but all my friends have kids from 10 to late 20s most of them don't work all have anxiety or depression some of them on disability rest of their life at 20 years old. I don't get it!!!! My very good friends daughter is 25 never had a job ever been sitting in basement watching TV since she was 16 thats all she does you never see her no friends no vehicle gets som kinda disability for what I don't know 🙄🙄🙄

You were lucky you got the V8, the V6 has a factory problem where the crankshaft breaks into 2 pieces.

Once had a brand new LR3. It was very nice. So nice, I was afraid to get it dirty (all black), and therefore never drove it. Ended up selling it with about 8300 miles on it.

Another Land Rover gal! I’ve owned various land rovers over the years, and all my girlfriends say the same thing “it’s so boxy” (in positive light) I’m sure you know the common faults of these. Also, that low MPG is with 93 octane as well.
