Like come on, I don't see why so stubborn about staying with the RCMP, a landmark of a true city is to have your own police force witch let me tell you is generally better then a overarching one. Nothing but bad experience with RCMP. Plus your more then halfway there, and no one wants them to stay at this point.

Locke is wasting time and money. Having your own Police is a necessity in a City as large as Surrey.

Time to politically merge the GVRD together (or at least merge many of the smaller cities)... like most of the other World-Class cities around the world. No more of mayors believing they are ruling some personal fiefdom.

People object to merge North Van and Township of North Van together and it should stay that way. Even if at times the road is less coherent and less relaxed or beautifully feeling.
