I have posted about my friend, George F. Mills before, but this is absolutely the best video I have seen about him. It tells the entire story of his wartime experience. He turned 100 years old last May and is still going strong. I have always had so much admiration for George. My biggest regret is that when we worked together I was so young, but mostly so immature that I didn’t really appreciate the sacrifice this man had made for our country. Thank you George Mills for your service and your friendship.

Thank you Johnny for pointing that out. As a 40 yr old veteran myself that joined the army infantry right out of high school because of 9/11 it brakes my heart to see our youth killing each other and confused of their gender. See famous TikTok ers and social media influencers that kids idolize. The true famous people the true influencers are men like this and the ones that gave their life for our freedom. Now we have lgbtq month, black history month, and have 2 days set aside to honor are true Americans. I’m not saying there’s anything wrong with black peole either. I have plenty that are my brothers and sisters and I have a mix raced child that is so beautiful and next in line to be a proud American. Thanks for pointing that out I’m glad there is still some youth with your mindset. You may be needed real soon.

Being a young adult now, I perceive all these forests in Luxembourg and Germany differently. Having had many guided tours, you still see foxholes and reminders of the war. Whenever I walk through them, I feel gratitude towards those who came to save us. I wish you could come back to see us, sir. Back when I was a kid, many veterans used to come to Bastogne, Ettelbrück, Diekirch and the Ardennes to see where they fought in WW2. As time passes, I can hardly imagine what the world will be like without all these gents who inspire us youngsters through their genuine, humble and heroic characters. Greetings from Diekirch, Luxembourg.

@@awhit6609 they won’t allow any new content like this. Medal of Honor recaps Medal of Honor recipients. The highest medal in the land. Of course they allow that. But everyday Americans and their stories? Like this patriot? Nah. Netflix is too woke to allow such content. We don’t even need to support such garbage like Netflix. Make these episodes for free on KZfaq and have like a PayPal or Patreon for exclusive behind the scenes content and Id pay for that. To help support the staff of this channel. Patriotism is dying with our WWII vets and soon Vietnam Vets. Sadly by the time we get to our Desert Shield and Storm brothers/sisters, it’ll be a shame to talk about being an American. Wait and see. As a first generation American and vet myself, I’m scared for our future.
@TA-wg9oi
@TA-wg9oi 2 жыл бұрын
@@samueldocski4426 I don't believe so Sammy. Unsure if you have traveled much but the United States is regognised around the world for it's patriotism. I also recently watched a French channel of a lady walking the beaches and cemeteries of Normandy. She stopped filming at being so upset of what these soldiers had done in liberating her country. On the US Memorial Day weekend 2021, a large group of people volunteered to clean up the graffiti at Currahee, Camp Toccoa GA, a training ground for the 101st Airborne (inc. 506th Band of Brothers). Continued education like this channel is key. People don't value the things they don't respect & they don't respect the things they don't know about. The people have the power on any televised programme like Netflix same as written media. If it's not going to be watched or read, it wont be produced.

The best place for WWII veterans to regain memories good or bad is Dragonman's Museum in Colorado Springs. That place is a World War treasure cove!
