Suru Valley of Ladakh, in the Kargil district is an amalgamation of history, folklore, gorgeous scenery, beautiful people and places that will take your breath away! Your vlog brought forth the memories of my tenure in Kargil from May 2013 to February 2016. Sankoo, Khumbathang, Dhamsana, Khartse Khar were the places where we would often visit. We used to savour Trout fish purchased from Dhamsana. Suru valley is one of the most beautiful places in Laddakh but very few people, who come to Laddakh, visit here. I worked in 44MW Chutuk Power Station which is situated 11km away from Kargil upstream the Suru River. I have enjoyed all the seasons here. Apricot here are of top quality. Above all, people here are very friendly and patriotic.

This is a whole new experience for someone who loves seclusion, a bit of history, a valley nestled between craggy 7+ mountains, waterfalls and what not! I've been to Leh, Khardungla La, Pangong Tso ,Nubra Valley . Ladakh is a travel destination that teaches you a lot . I learnt so much during my Trip to Ladakh . Also as you mentioned that Army men sacrifice their entire lives so that we can stay at our homes is so true .I also got the same feeling when I saw army people spending their lives in the extreme conditions. Very well made series 😊
