Two things. 1. You can make white dye with bonemeal, and dye your single piece of black wool white to make a bed. 2. Make a shield. It'll help a lot with skeletons and creepers

You are not a newb, 3 flowers, 3 cocoa beans, or 3 cactus, etc., will take care of your bed issue no matter what color sheep you kill. Nice cape. I liked the video and I'm thinking about watching Episode 1. Good luck.

Love how simple and pure this let’s play is. Refreshing compared to other Minecraft content today. Just someone playing the game, trying to survive and learning along the way.

You should also open the recipe book on your craftinf table and furnace. Each ui shows different recipes

I love the just raw exploration, literally like someone seeing the world for the first time. Just investigating everything, a much needed change of pace to normal lets plays where in episode 1 they've killed the ender dragon and full diamond armour. I'm also getting a real nostalgic feel but with new Minecraft as I also grew up watching paulsoaresjr and playing the tekkit modpacks. Attack of the B-Team was my favourite lets play from paulsoaresjr. Very keen for this series as I play through a new world too!

Just pick up 3 flowers the same colour and dye the wool blocks, hay presto bed. And make a shield.

When you jump and hit a mob at the same time it makes critical damage to the mob which means that you make much more damage to the mob and it takes less hits to kill the mob

When you sprint in the water, you actually activate the swimming mechanic. While swimming, you're not only faster, but you're one block tall (you can see it in f5 mode). Also, similarly, you can crawl in Minecraft now by placing a trap door and closing it above you, squishing your character and forcing you into crawling.

Coarse dirt dirt and regular dirt are essentially the same. You can combine gravel with regular dirt to double your dirt supply but most ppl just use coarse dirt for path block for their base.

Copper is much useless at the begining, more of a decorative material, but there is the spyglass and archeologic brush made from copper... and you can cook wood logs (not wood planks) to make charcoal for torches and firecamps... It may sound cool to have a pet but... last time i checked, dogs and cats are mainly good for afk farms since they still walk on lava, fall from clifs and only attack when you get hit or you hit something... Oh and suspicious stew, since it is made from mushroom and random flowers, it gives various effects, you were just unlucky that your first bowl was poison... it could have been night vision or fether falling or something else (i dont know all the variants)...
