Great video. I was fresh from south Florida when I first had a winter camp in Wyoming near Yellowstone. The cold and snow was brand new to me. I was in shock and had to rely on the experience of others. I had to trust them and watch them and listen. That was 20 years ago and I have loved it ever since. I share the idea of Bruce Ferguson, and I really enjoyed how did you demonstrate a real survival situation by crossing the stream and making a fire. Great video and good job.

Hut ab mein Guter, vor der Überquerung. Deine Geräusche haben mich laut lachen lassen, da mir diese Situation bekannt vorkam. Am Besten war jedoch die Szene kurz danach "is a joke - oder?". Da hab ich mich sowas von weggeschmissen. Könnt mich kaum noch am Tisch halten. Mal wieder ein super Video von Dir. Immer nur weiter so! Grüße, Sacki

Cool vid, Sepp! Reminds me of my 1st muskrat I shot in February. It dropped into a creek and I undressed and got in at freezing temps to collect the animal. Didn't catch it anyway but it was a literally cool adventure. My friend laughed all the time taking pictures with his cellphone. When my little toes lost feeling I went out and ran around to get warm again. Didnt catch a cold !! It's important to watch your body to avoid hypothermia in such a situation. Take care!

Sepp after watching that one , I think it will take me a couple hours to warm up. I was shivering every second you were crossing that stream of water. That was a lot deeper than it looked on screen. I can still here the sound of your breathing in that cold water. Thanks for the great show. If I were 30 years younger than I am I could never have found the nerve to do that. Da ziehts dem Stier die Hörner ins gesicht! cooler Tip mit dem Fungus ;-) abgefahren. Cool, jetzt kenne ich 2 Pflanzen die zum "schärfen" taugen. Sepp you are one brave man at 4:21. i struggle in summer let alone winter. mind you the coldest we get here in winter is maybe 1 or 2 deg C.

Hehe Sepp, dass war ein tolles Video! Ich hab herzlichst gekichert und mich an meinen Schweden Kanutrip erinnert :D Da ist mir morgens meine (Zum Glück wasserdichte) Kodak Playsport, beim beladen des Kanus, zwischen Botssteg und Kanu ins Wasser gefallen. Das war mindestens genau so kalt und meine Freundin hat dort am See, an dieser Stelle herzlichst gekichert :D
