Hi, we are Stephen, Jess and little Hunter, a travelling van life family who self-converted their dream house on wheels - we now live full-time in our Sprinter van called Cooper as we do a full lap of our home Australia.

Congratulations on being able to fly again! Long haul flights are tough for anyone, going with a toddler is very impressive. Looks like she managed the hours on the plane well. Enjoy your trip!

You guys did a perfect job of keeping her busy and not losing it with all the delays. I hope you enjoy Hawaii! Hunter is so smart, you can tell she is really absorbing everything she is learning. My son was frustrated at her age because he couldn't get words out in sentences so I taught my now 18 year old (I'm 42) how to do basic ASL and OMG what a huge difference. He could communicate and then around 16 months he could speak 4 word sentences. I caught the first one on camera, I recorded everthing and it's so great that you guys do too. Someday Hunter will love to see all this footage.

You guys are honestly amazing! I work at Sydney international airport (cannot believe I missed seeing you!) and all I can say is thank you! Travel is definitely different these days with the different documents required as well as PCR tests etc and you guys have shown exactly what is required and have explained it so well! This video will definitely help those who aren’t too sure. Hope you are having an amazing holiday! ❤️✈️

Such a lovely vlog! I’ve traveled with babies myself so know how exciting but tiring it can be. My youngest actually used to sleep a lot of our plane trips away, up to 13 hours. I felt so blessed at times like that. His three sisters weren’t quite so into traveling, oh boy, that was a different story. Enjoy your new adventure! Xxxxxx

Well done guys👏👏... I remember writing a comment about tips for long-haul with a baby/doddler when Jess was pregnant (which you gave a lovely reply to) .. The key point was as long as you are relaxed and love travel, your child will love it and be excited and fine. The second tip was prep with activities and snacks . Hunter was a star! 👶👌.. And that's (a big part) down to your attitudes🤗

You guys stayed at The Modern! My wife and I were there this past summer with our 3 kiddos and they loved the pool - and lagoon! Waking up to a wonderful cup of coffee and hearing the fam yell out, “HEY!!! THEY’RE STAYING AT OUR HOTEL!,” was a delightful happy sound. We hope you guys have a happy Christmas, safe travels, and Aloha from San Antonio, TX! Cheers! I dont usually comment on anything, but you guys are such good first time parents. REALLY! Ive got 4 n had em one after another so i never got that chance to sit, and just enjoy n be silly n have fun! Ive got a hint of jealousy, but truely you guys are making her world the most magical thing! I hope that it bleeds into her childhood and she becomes such a great lady, and person in general. I know none of the hard stuff ends up on camera, but you can tell with all her reactions over the few videos i have watched watched, that she truly is just happy and its all because of you 2.

ive found that staying up tuntil 8-10 local time the first day you're there helps me get over jet lag with in a day or 2 :) hunter is so cute! what an amazing little traveler she is. She seemed so good on the long flights

We need to see you both back in Iceland in that blue lagoon but please the full treatment. Do a few tours of that amazing country. Expensive yes but what an experience, the amazing landscape and just the Icelandic people. 👍👍👍

We have done many long haul flights with babies ( they are now 13 and 17). We have family in Poland. I am so glad we prioritised travel but we did learn to be kind to ourselves and break up a flight to Europe with a stopover in Asia. Our boys have so many wonderful memories of our travels and are as addicted to travel as we are. We are still waiting to take that trip to Greece that we planned to do in June 2020...maybe in July 2022! Have a joyous Christmas!
