Heat Death is a sci-fi survival game where you can build, upgrade, and customize your battle train to explore and survive a frozen world! This train is not only your shelter and vehicle, but also your weapon and ally to face hostile drones, deadly storms, and hidden mysteries of an unknown world!

Almost didn't try this one but ended up checking it out and really enjoyed what was here - the minimal sci-fi setting, the frozen, barren tundra and the ability to build and craft your train WHILE you can explore at the same time - really liked that from what I've played and looking forward to the release of this one!

Am I the only one screaming at the screan that the arrow suposed to go INSIDE while building? XD

wait... did I read it wrong? I thought it said the arrow OUTSIDE? OH NO haha 😅 either way, outside or inside - should be on the same 'tile' as it seems like they're on separate tiles depending on orientation..

@@proroguebear I think there is some kind of mesh You build on, its extrmley hard to see. But maybe they wanted to go with intuitive building with specific idea how the train should look?

Yeah I think that's right - I've got a follow up episode coming tomorrow(?) where I've fixed the building now 😅 my bad for not reading the tooltip properly 🙃🥲

The biggest problem with legs and a body is that you want the camera to be centered to rotate around, that means when you look down you look into your model and that means you will see a backface culled model... aka nothing.

Yeah, definitely adds complexity to it - I like those where I can see it though so I don't feel like I'm a 'floating camera' as well but in the large scheme of things it doesn't affect too much!

@@proroguebear I'm really interested in seeing you play a few episodes of this demo. This game looks awesome. It's not unlike other games, but it's just different enough to make it interesting to see where you can go with it.

Yes sounds good - not sure how long the demo is or how long I have left in this before it stops but I can sort out another episode for sure - I'm itching to continue it as well!
